Brief Childhood History:During the young ages of Mimoselle's, family was what she could probably appreciate. She had her loving parents, and she, was their adorable daughter they thought they would take as a gift from God. Mimoselle was born half-blood, as her mother, Mrs Chan was a witch and her father was completely an Asian muggle. To her father, her mother was a fascinating woman, who brought him into a magic society he had ever dreamed of before he was getting to know its existence very well. And Mimoselle had the most wonderful moment staying with her parent - the impression she could hardly forget about Mrs Chan, before Mrs Chan passed away accidentally. Her mother's delicate features had been passed down to Mimoselle, reminded her of her mom when she looked at her own reflection on a mirror.
When Mimoselle was at 5, Mr Chan had brought her to the outskirts of town. Mrs Chan's old friend, Gaius McGrath was surprised to have a chance to look after little Mimoselle. His wife and he, had never had a child after all. They figured out the death of Mrs Chan and were glad to take care of Mimoselle. Mr Chan was a businessman who often went overseas to run for errands, he was much more of a workaholic - his business partners called him so. He finally made his mind to send his daughter to McGrath's cottage, though it was not easy for him. Mimoselle understood, just understood. Nothing other than this. She felt alone, and she knew that.
Mimoselle was awkward in this new environment, everything was just strange to her, until she found more and more about McGraths. A wit Mr McGrath was. Mimoselle would never see him as a typical old man, he was just
that full of wisdom. How did she know? She felt, sensed and saw that. Whenever she felt bad about the accident happened to her mother, and every scene of she witnessed with her naked eyes came flooding back right before her eyes, and couldn't bear of being in the state of depression, Mr McGrath had his own way to introduce her some ways out. Mimoselle liked stargazing, thanks to this old man, yet her teacher. Every moment of them staying with each other in the attic room was to observe the stars. Orion is her most favorite and the first star she learn. "Life is always full of surprises, you won't remorse by coming up with me. Come." Mr McGrath assured her, and then showing her the Orion in the attic room. She first reckoned the three stars in a row - the Orion's belt. Her mind could have lines connected to stars around the Belt, at ease. Great imaginations she had, for what is required in Astrology study. Mimoselle had a fantastic night out, under Mr McGrath's guide.
She continued having her knowledge developed, with Mr McGrath's motivation and kindness in sharing. Mimoselle was totally obsessed with the Greek Mythology ever since she had her eyes on Mr McGrath's the Greek Mythology series on a bookshelf. She got impressed by those graphics and myths contained in the books. Neighborhood at the farmland have their respects for Mr McGrath, for his old age and wide knowledge - even in History of Magic. Mimoselle liked listening to his history lecture. How she learned that she was eager for knowledge. She loved Mr McGrath, as though he was her grandpa she could see, more than just a guardian. Words from Mr McGrath had their uses always. She realized. That should be a point for her to bear them in her mind.
Mimoselle was having her schooldays like every other normal kids else. A bunch of friends often got intrigued to talk to her, due to her friendliness everyone can feel miles away. She most unlikely to deal you a hard time. No way could she make that to even a stranger she didn't like on her first impression in person. She did not mind to be a supporter to her friends, you can tell when she was in enthusiasm to cheer for friends. She didn't get into the center of attention during the entire school life - deep down. she longed for it. At 11, she got the letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She was too excited to expect, to imagine, to think of her life in Hogwats ahead. Leaping up and down, lying unrest on her bed could do her no good in resisting her urge going Hogwarts in no time. An owl has become her pal during her journey to Hogwarts, she is Quiche - A gift from Gaius McGrath.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Her imagination is rich, especially it comes to stars. With ideal lines connected to them, they are completely different from being called just stars, they are pictures to her. Astrology would be her kind of thing she is glad to learn, to be proud of. She is also good in the History of Magic, as the result of listening much of it from Mr McGrath, years before entering Hogwarts.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Defense Against Dark Art is her weakness of all. The thing is,
she can't stay focused How is she going to fight against attacks? not to mention the dark magic. She wishes she can overcome her biggest matter immediately, but she just fails, as she cannot fully understand how important it is, how serious it is. Bless her.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Ravenclaw. She is appreciative of beauty and overeager for knowledge. She wishes she could be one of those wits, because of human's nature to knowing more. Mimoselle thinks it feels right and content by having curiosity, there are surprises everywhere if you bother to figure them out, aren't there?
