Brief Childhood History: Dawson was raised by his father until age five. After that, he was eventually thrown into foster care, and the shelters of his city. Eventually, he came under the care of a functional, but distant family at age eight. Already damaged, his trust and social instincts never recovered fully, and he became increasingly antisocial.When he got his letter that a school in Britain saw fit to accept him, he saw it as a way out of having to deal with so many people, having become in love with books and learning his intellect started to finally manifest with some actual stimuli. Unfortunately, this also meant he saw images of solitude and study, rather than a communal school. Through the years, despite disappointment in how much privacy he got, he managed to avoid any interaction with his classmates-or anybody- at all, in the school. He got good grades, but was limited by the fact his teachers felt that the utter lack of interaction showed a lack of promise and initiative.
Strengths: High intellect, he has talents in raw thinking and processing power, and slightly higher than average memory. Analytical talents, and higher intellectual dedication), strong inner moral core, his morals are simple, but he'll adhere to them until death. And he'll even manage to fight his phobia of people for them, if necessary. Good at Charms, Transfiguration, Defense against the Dark Arts.
Weaknesses: Physically weak because he doesn't exercise much, and he's not a heavy eater, so his body just hasn't had a chance to really be strong. childhood doubt/self loathing he must always second guess his decisions, and the trust and affection of others. Has the charisma of a rotting corps because he is very distant, and is more blunt than any socially aware person ever would be. Cannot socialize normally, At all because of a phobia of people and social interaction at large. Bad at Divination, History of Magic, Herbology. Magical Beasts tend to be jittery around him, I don't know if that counts as being actively bad at the class.
