Brief Childhood History: Scarlett was born into a somewhat rich-ish family. They owned a nice, fancy house and both of her parents had jobs that supported them well. She was the only child to survive after her parents had triplets, and they had several miscarriages afterwards, so in the end they decided that Scarlett was enough.
She never let the borderline richness go to her head, and she was always surprisingly down to earth because that's the way she was raised. She was a very inquistive child and soaked up the world around her like a sponge. She took after her father in looks, but her mother in her fierce, loyal, protective, hot-headed personality, hence the name 'Scarlett' which describes fire, and she has a fiery personality.
It was a shock and a delight to her when she got her Hogwarts acceptance letter. Apparently her great-grandmother had been a witch, and that magical trait/ability must've passed down to her. Since she's naturally adventurous, she's very excited to embark on this new journey and see what this new, changed life has to offer her.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Scarlett is very short and skinny, which makes her pretty fast, agile, and flexible. She is able to fit into tight spaces and go into places others can't. Her will is iron and unbreakable, and her loyalty is fierce and profound. She is very good at DADA and Transfiguration because they are both extremely interesting and there's always something new to learn. She also does well with Care of Magical Creatures, since she always had a soft spot for animals.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): She is not strong whatsoever, and can easily be pushed/ran over/tossed about. She has a very cocky way about her, which can get her into trouble since she always mouths off at people. Her temper is high, and she can't always control it. She often forgets things, so don't count on her to remember much, or to lie for you, because she's a terrible liar as well. Divination and Herbology are her weakest subjects. She doesn't find a point in Divination and thinks it's useless, while she hates plants and finds caring for them boring and learning about them unentertaining.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: I feel Gryffindor is the House that best fits Scarlett. She is very brave and isn't afraid to give her life for loved ones/friends. She is naturally reckless and adventurous, and does have a certain disregard for rules. Rules were made to be broken, after all. She mouths off to teachers, which is her 'nerve'
