Type of Natural Disaster: Strong wind; rare, but strong, thunderstorms/lightening storms; Fire. Lots and lots of fires. It stays pretty dry around the area, and as mentioned we have a lot of wind.
Months in which this is common: Wind is usually pretty much all year, there are a couple months we don't get much. But the strong wind is usually between 25 -70 mph, sometimes knocking out power for awhile. And thunderstorms are usually spring-time, if we get anything. Lately we've had a ton of snow, which is very very odd for our area, so possible power outages from that as well. Fire is more in the spring/summer, depending on rainfall.
