Brief Childhood History: Andy is the oldest of three kids in his family born to his parents-muggle father Aaron Piper and witch mother Raine Piper. One of those kids is his twin sister Liz. They don’t know why, but Liz doesn’t have magic. The other kid is their younger brother Max, who is 8.
Unfortunately, when Max was 3, their mother died in a car accident, leaving their father to look after them all. Aaron is a working musician, and is often on tour. All of the family are musical and always have been, but since their mother died, the kids all started to go on tour with their father, usually just during the summer holidays, but occasionally more often when it's required. Because of that, Andy is very well travelled and used to change.
Andy didn't have very many magical accidents as a kid, he was never found on a fridge or anything like that. He once fixed his sister's toy by accident after he had broken it. However, he always used to watch his mother when she made potions and his fascination and inquisitive mind gave him good knowledge in that area even though he is too young to make them himself.

Strengths (At least three, including Personality and Academic): Due to the amount of moving about he does, Andy is very quick to make friends. He is intelligent and humourous. He is an extremely talented singer and he plays the cello and piano very well for his age. He is deeply looking forward to potions, and has several recipes from memory already from watching his mother. She taught him both potions and piano before she died.
Weaknesses (At least three, including Personality and Academic): Andy doesn’t like being tied down in one place, so he’s going to find the strict structure and expectations of Hogwarts hard to deal with. He tends to try and make friends with everybody and often resorts to changing his own personality to appeal more to other people. Andy doesn’t like plants at all. He’s always been terrible at anything to do with plants. Due to his intelligence and the nature of his life, he’s not used to having to work hard for anything, so he’s not going to like the effort and hard work involved with a school in magic.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: I feel that Andy belongs in Hufflepuff because of his skill with people, his friendliness and his humour. He takes what he’s given and works with it-making the best of any situation. Despite the fact that he isn’t used to hard work, he is more than willing to be industrious if he actually believes what he’s doing will help him or a friend.
