Brief Childhood History:
Born and raised in a small village on the northern coast of Wales, Hazel is the only child of Gwen Llewellyn and Frank Ingram. Her father worked long hours in the Ministry while Gwen stayed at home to look after young Hazel and give her a basic education from home. The family had little money as Frank's small salary did not stretch far, but Mrs Ingram was proficient at all manner of household spells and managed to ensure that all of Hazel's needs were catered for, even if it meant ignoring some of her own. A former Ravenclaw, she gave her daughter a first rate education (including lessons in Welsh) but was disappointed to find that Hazel was more interested in flying and listening to her favourite Wizarding bands than reading books.
Hazel's early childhood passed quickly, and before she knew it she had turned eleven and her Hogwarts letter had arrived. The visit to Diagon Alley to buy her school things put a large hole in the Ingrams' pockets, but Hazel was more than grateful for her second hand robes and battered school books. Just like every other eleven year old witch or wizard, she was incredibly excited and could not wait to begin her adventure at Hogwarts
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic):
Good natured and kind, Hazel does not find it difficult to make friends. Though a little quiet, she is trusting and benevolent but reserved in essentials. She is quick to admit her mistakes and would defend a friend in need without a thought. Hazel's true colours show through when she is forced to make decisions; she will always choose right over easy and friends over herself. She has few subjects at which she excels, but had proves herself to be reasonably apt at Charms and Care of Magical Creatures.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic):
Hazel is very determined, and this can mean she is rather stubborn. Her willingness to help others sometimes results in her seeming nosy and prying. She is also good at accidentally getting herself into scrapes, being a little clumsy and careless at times. However she always tries to rectify her mistakes in the best way possible. Hazel's academic prowess is average, and she can usually scrape through exams with enough studying. She is however rather awful at Potions, Arithmancy and History of Magic, lessons in which her concentration is rarely present.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why:
Despite her many faults, Hazel is above all good at heart and I think she would fit best in Gryffindor house. She is not the stereotype of Gryffindor and yet sometimes she even surprises herself with her bravery. Hufflepuff would be a suitable alternative.
