Brief Childhood History: Liev, son of Tatum Kerfuffle and Reginald Hollingberry, was born on the 6th of December in Wandsworth, Greater London, United Kingdom. He grew up in a family consisting of purebloods only, which was without a doubt the reason why his parents raised him the way they did. Liev grew up in his parents’ mansion, occasionally visiting his family members around the country. Both his parents were born and raised in the United Kingdom.
Liev was introduced to the wizarding world at a very early age. His dad made sure to tell him all about power, magic and how these two could work together, but not abuse it – and most importantly, to never get interfered with muggles too much. Liev, hardly knowing what a ‘muggle’ was, got home-schooled instead of going to a regular school, and was never really allowed to go and ‘mingle’ with the muggle kids in their neighbourhood. His mum, being less stern than his dad, sometimes let him out to make friends, afraid that her son would become a very lonesome child. Despite being able to talk to muggle kids and play with them, Liev never really made any friends. He always felt like he couldn’t trust people or didn’t really connect with them – no matter if they were muggles or not. Because of this Liev spend most of his time alone, trying his best to meet the high expectations his parents had for him – mostly by making his schoolwork the best way he could, even if the subjects did not appeal to him at all.
His dad Reginald worked six days a week, wanting to keep his family as wealthy as possible, while his mother Tatum mostly spent her time taking care of Liev. However, even if he was a bit lonely, Liev was never an unhappy child in any way. Even though he did not really have any friends or good contacts except for his family, Liev was always treated well by both his mum and dad. Being an only child, Liev never had to share anything and could get anything he wanted, whenever he wanted. Not only just because he was spoiled or his parents were soft like that, but mostly because his stubborn behaviour.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Liev is very ambitious about almost everything he does and does not leave any tasks undone, or done badly. He is not at all the smartest kid alive, but his pure determination to finish and do things makes up for this. He is not afraid to speak his mind, but does not necessarily want to offend people. Liev is usually very calm and collected, and will not make any decisions before having thought everything through. He will not tolerate people teasing him and will always stand up for himself when needed. Subjects he will excel in will most likely include Defense Against the Dark Arts, Charms, and Potions, probably because of the fact that he thinks these subjects are very fascinating. Liev will always try to meet expectations people have about him, unless it doesn’t harm him in any way.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Being born in a pureblood family and being kept away from muggles as much as possible as a child, Liev has little knowledge about all things muggle-related. Despite having met many wizards and witches, being home-schooled has made him kind of a lonesome child. Because of this, he will come off as rude or awkward (which he can and will be), just because he isn’t used to being around a lot of people. Even though he is very ambitious and cunning, he can be a bit lazy when it comes to things he is not interested in. Subjects he will have a problem with because of his lack of interest include History of Magic, Herbology and Transfiguration. However, this disinterest can only affect his grades by that much – he will never permit himself to show his parents (very) bad grades.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Slytherin (willing to wait, of course!). Liev is very determined to get what he wants, is ambitious in everything he does and is willing to do (almost) everything to achieve his goals. This makes him both very determined as well as stubborn, and maybe even sly. He will take advantage of people or situations to get where he wants to be. Even if he is a bit quiet and reserved, he is not shy at all. He is very calculated and has a problem with trusting people, and will only befriend people he feels truly comfortable around. Liev can come off as ignorant, arrogant and maybe even rude because of his calm behaviour, sarcastic humour and his crude way of saying things.
