Brief Childhood History:
Avalon was born to a muggleborn witch named Vivian and a halfblood wizard named Arthur. Both having names from Arthurian legends and being extremely interested in everything involved because of it, they decided to name their first and only daughter to the most important place of this all, Avalon.
Growing up, Avalon was always the kind of child that was running around and doing all kinds of games and sports. Any sports worked, really, she was always busy doing something, a lot of the times other than homework or learning. She grew up knowing about magic, her parents both being magical, but from a very early age on she was taught not to bring it up since they lived in a muggle society. Her first signs of magic thankfully were not too special and easily hidden by her parents.
She grew up in a society where girls were expected to be pretty and behave well, but Avalon never wanted this. She would rather play with cars and lego and generally befriended boys more. She never liked hanging out with girls because she believed them to be far too superficial and focused on looks.
when Avalon got her letter for Hogwarts she and her parents were very excited and hoped she would be in Gryffindor like them. They immediately bought her a broom but since the school rules state she can't have one in her first year, her parents decided on keeping it at home until the second year.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic):
Avalon is a righteous person. She doesn't like it when people wrong other people and she will easily decide to say something about it. Other than that she is good at listening when something is interesting enough to her and if told in an interesting sounding way. Because she grew up in a muggle society she would most likely excel in Muggle Studies when she gets to do them from third year on, but until then, she would be best at Herbology and Astronomy because both would be things she could do in the muggle world.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic):
Avalon is generally a nice girl but she can be quite naive. She doesn't really think about her actions and that could get her into trouble sometimes. She's hyperactive most of the time and while some may find it amusing, mostly it's quite an annoying trait to see in a person. Because of her hyperactive being she wouldn't be too good in potions since she would mess up the order by not being able to focus on it. Another class that she would fail at is Charms, for pretty much the same reason. She doesn't have the ability to focus on wandwork as much.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why:
Avalon is without any doubt a Gryffindor. While she may be the typical brave or stupid kind of girl, she's also all about defending what she thinks is right and often will act on this based on impulse rather than on logic. She's quite loyal to her friends but will also hold a grudge against people she doesn't like much. Being a Gryffindor may help her realise that it's not always a good idea to act before you think and hopefully she'll see that not everything works out when you act on your impulses and that if you think before you act that doesn't make you less brave.
