First and Last Name: Vincent Halvin

Bloodline: Half-Blooded
 Hair Color: Pitch Black
Eye Color: Azure Blue
General Build: Average
Height: Tall

Birthplace: Bradford, England
Brief Childhood History: Vincent was in a mostly normal Half-Blooded family. His childhood history has been full of fun and nourishing things. When Vincent was very young, his mother and father (his father was non-magical) had always taken good care of him, letting him have fun and teaching him what was fair and what was not. They were very hard on him when he made a mistake or did something he was not allowed to do, which, instead of crushing him down, made him feel that fairness and courage were the best two traits to posses in life. The only traumatic and bad major experience in Vincent's life would have been when he was six and a half, when he woke up one morning to the sound of loud arguing, sounds of physical fighting, and the rustle of the trees in the night at 2:30 AM. The argument his parents were having was over the fact that Vince's mother, Sienna, was a witch, and had kept it secret from his father for 14 years. This resulted in Vince's father to go absolutely insane making him shout many bad things, absolutely despising wizards and their lying ways, and left the family for months. It scarred Vincent deeply, having a very close relationship with his father, then him leaving just because Vince was a wizard, and he never knew it himself. Months later though, Harrison (Vince's father), came back, fully accepting of all of the world of magic, and asking for forgiveness which was given to him, and with some talk with the Ministry, he was back in the family. The next 4 and a half years for Vincent was filled with sports, Quidditch, and a very good experience of a muggle's childhood, and a wizard's childhood, already understanding engineering from his father's side, and already learning how to conjure simple spells like Lumos from his mother's side. Overall, Vincent enjoyed his childhood very much.

Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Vincent has a very strong strength in Transfiguration due to his efficient logical and theoretical thinking, since he was raised in part by an avionics engineer; a profession that demands lots of critical and logical thinking. Because of this, his father has always sought out logic in arguments and conversations with Vincent, making Vincent adopt this way of thinking. Vincent is also very good at Defence Against the Dark Arts, mostly because he finds it interesting and useful, though he can also think quickly because of his lacrosse games and his interest in Quidditch. His last strength lies in his courage, his entire family and parents have always been the people to "never back down", knowing that good things only come if you fight hard for them. Vince takes this mentality and dedicates it to his life; fighting hard for what he wants.

Vincent is usually the jokester of the friend group, always wanting a happy atmosphere during work and play, making jokes and teasing girls in order to make everyone smile. The only time he really gets mad is when he feels someone did something bad without any reason at all; Vincent thinks there should always be a reason for something, and that it should be obvious. Vincent doesnt really like work much, though puts a lot of effort into things he likes. He is genuinely interested in other people, always asking how they are and greeting them in a friendly manner; sometimes, due to his comfortable and fearless demeanor, he will go up to completely random people and start a conversation, usually it ending quite well due to his outgoing nature. He likes being with other people and tries to be the life of the party, though is not cocky or overconfident; admitting his limitations (though not always following them because of his "Never give up" attitude.)

Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Vince has a weakness in Potions, particularily because even though Vincent likes cooking and has skill in it, he never was one to "follow instructions and recipes down to the last gram". In the Muggle world the food always turned out fine even if a few ingredients were thrown in here and there in different amounts, but this habit carried on even into the Wizarding World, making Potions very difficult for him. He also is not very good at Astronomy as he just thinks it's all myth and doesnt affect him in the slightest, no matter what anyone says. He has the potential to do well in Astronomy because of his good memory and thinking, but refuses to because he simply does not like it because it isnt practical. Vincent's last weakness lies in his fearless attitude. While in times it works very well with his courage to overcome a situation, sometimes it works against him when problems simply are just too big for him to deal with on his own, and as hard as he tries, he just isnt good at some things, though he wont admit it or get help; leaving him to take ages to overcome a problem he could've remedied in much less time if he would just ask for help or admit the issue was too big for him.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: I believe Vincent belongs in Gryffindor because of his courage and fearlessness. He fights for what he wants and will help his friends when they call for it. He believes strongly in fairplay, and hates cheating and stealing with a passion.

Heya Vincent and welcome to HPRPG~!

However, before we can sort you, there are some things that we're going to have to ask you to edit. First, we only ask for simply, one word answers for the 'general build' and 'height', chosen from the three adjectives we give you on the sheet rather than exact measurements. After all, 5'9" is much too tall for an eleven year old. ;3

As for her history, we're going to have to ask that you remember the mention of his father beating his mother and Vincent. ^^; HPRPG is family friendly and we actually don't allow those sort of things on the board. <3 He's welcome to have argued and stomped out and whatnot, but we just ask that you remove that one bit.

Lastly, we ask that you give us a few more personality strengths and weaknesses. The 'at least three' is a minimum and doesn't necessarily included both personality and academic. Think of them as two separate bits of those categories.

Once you've made the above changes just swap the title from 'pending' to 'edited'.
