Brief Childhood History:
Ever had a fairly good life as a child; her family was rich and she had lots of attention growing up. Being the youngest of three children in a wealthy family, Ever always got what she wanted...within reason. Since she was born, Ever had always been a bit of a fashion snob; although it may have been a coincidence, once when she was just 2 months old, she spit up on a house keeper that tried to put her in an atrocious yellow and black dress. So always being stylishly dressed, pampered, and beautiful, she usually never had to lift a finger or even worry about anything.
That is until she was 6 years old. Her father, Corvinus, had made connections with fellow Death Eaters, and got back involved with their silent schemes and behind the scenes work. Her mother, Camille, did not like this one little bit. Fighting in the house went from nonexistent to constant. Shortly after, her parents divorced. Her mother left the following week and took Stella, who was 3 years older than Ever, with her. Ever wouldn’t see her sister again until she found her at Hogwarts, a shy awkward girl, surprisingly sorted into Ravenclaw rather than Slytherin. Her brother Lucian and herself, however, grew rather close.
Living with her father, Ever was taught the basic of being a pureblood. If someone has higher status than you, respect them. If they have a lower status, snub them. Muggleborns, Mudbloods as her father called them, were the scum of the earth and shouldn’t even be able to attend Wizarding Schools. Ever, though feeling guilty about speaking ill of a whole group as one, went along her teaching. After all, she didn’t really know any better. She was taught proper posture, and manners. She was skilled in dancing by the time she was 11. Though sometimes her teaching seemed silly, like walking around with a book on her head, she found later on that they proved to be useful.
She was schooled in the basics, such as spelling, grammar, math and the likes, at home with her father and brother. Ever found herself becoming bored with learning something that wasn’t magic and soon went to her brother to ask him what he knew. Lucian was always happy to teach her about magic. Although knowing she couldn’t control her own magic at the time, he knew he could still show her how it worked and explain things to her. Her favourite type of magic to learn about was Charms. She was fascinated when he showed her how he could levitate her doll right above her head. Awed by what she had seen, she was even more excited to start school.

Strengths (At least three, including Personality and Academic): Ever, though not perfect(but you’d better not tell her that), does have her strengths. Her ambition is one of them. When she sets a goal for herself, she achieves it. Period. End of story. She won’t stop until she gets what she wants. She will do whatever it takes to achieve her goal. Another strong point with her is her passion. When she feels strongly about something, it’s shown quite easily. Despite the fact that she tries to hide her emotions, they will get the best of her if speaking about something that interests her. For example, if speaking about animal abuse, she will be quick to join in on the conversation and give her informed opinion. Academically, Ever is exceptional at Charm, Care of Magical Creatures, and Divination. She loves the concept of each and everyone one of those classes. She loves the magic and pure joy she feels when correctly performing a Charms Spell. She loves all of the animals and leaning about them in Care of Magical Creatures, she even doesn’t mind cleaning up after them, and that’s saying something! For divination, she loves the mystery of it, the whole idea of getting visions from the future and images of things to come. She tried her best to read her tea leaves correctly, she records all of her dreams, and is constantly looking for signs and symbols in seemingly ordinary things.
Weaknesses (At least three, including Personality and Academic): A lot of Ever’s weaknesses she developed at home. She has had trust issues since her parents split up, and doesn’t feel very comfortable getting to know people. When she first meets you, she may seem a bit withdrawn, but she only judges you after she knows you well enough. Until then though, she’ll be keeping a close eye on you. If you’re lucking, she’ll deem you worthy of her friendship. Another one of her weak points is her coldness. She was taught as a child that showing emotions means weakness. You can never let anyone know what you really feel unless you want to be used. Sometimes her passion gets in the way of her controlling her emotions, but she is working on that. Vanity and shallowness would probably be another weak point. To Ever, appearance is everything. If she doesn’t look her best, be prepared to hear about it all day, and you will be expected to compliment her if she hints at it. That’s mainly because behind her vanity, there is a part of her who is very self-conscious, that fears failure. She figures if she looks her best, she’ll be the best. Academically, Ever isn't very strong in Transfiguration or Herbology. She tries her best of course, but she can't really grasp the concept of them.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: I feel that Ever belongs in Slytherin. I feel that her qualities, such as ambition, coldness, vanity, and determination would put her there. Not only that, but she feels an attraction to the Dark Arts, she was only exposed to it a few times in her life, but each time she found it intoxicating; like it could be the one thing that could solve all of her problems; the thing to make her perfect. She has a strong desire to prove herself worthy, not only to her father, but to her teachers and her peers, and most importantly, her mother. She hopes that one day she will do something so great that her mother will come back to her with love and open arms.
