Brief Childhood History:
Asha had always grown up around food. Her mother had been born in Lousiana, and her way around the kitchen had always been a big part of Asha’s life. Her mother owned a muggle restaurant, something unheard of on the Pureblooded side of her family, not that Asha cared much. Her grandparents were the American equivalent of Death Eaters, and she didn’t hear much from them since her mom had married a muggle.
Will Caldwell was a good man, she was told, with sandy blonde hair and blue eyes. Asha always envied those kind blue eyes, the ones she saw in moving pictures only, they were far prettier, she thought, than her own dark brown ones, the same color as her skin. She looked just like her mother, two feet shorter and much less pretty. She might’ve remembered him smiling, making some ridiculous joke in his worst Cockney accent, just so Caiya (her mother) would be provoked into her own “Foreign Language”. Caiya spoke fluent French.
And then, one day, Will was gone. Asha was four. That was alright, because she remembered him even less than she missed him.
Asha knew from day one she was a witch, and always used it to her advantage. She was always using it to get in (and back out) of trouble, and while her mother, who would've been a Ravenclaw if born British, valued her “creativity”, the arrival of her Hogwarts letter was in many ways, a relief. Caiya could only hope that Asha would end up a good Hufflepuff, or a wise Ravenclaw, if only to keep her out of more trouble.

Strengths (At least three, including Personality and Academic): Asha is an only child, who uses her creativity and magical talent as entertainment, so most basic charms she picks up easily. Growing up around food, most any recipe comes easily to her, and Potions is no exception. She’s also very good at defensive spells, but only because she’s interested in using them.
Weaknesses (At least three, including Personality and Academic): Asha is very sensitive about her height and is pretty easy to provoke. She usually goes for her wand, and a quick jinx, but she’s not shy about just kicking you in the shins. Asha can be very sweet around people who know her well, but unfortunately, that only describes about two people on the planet. She’s not one to trust easily, and is very easily offended. She can also be pretty vengeful, and although she never intends to injure anyone, her revenge CAN be painful.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Slytherin. She can’t really stand the goody- goodies in the other houses anyways, and why should she have to be nice all the time? Sometimes it’s fun just to be mean. She likes to bend rules, and be in charge, and doesn't stick up for anyone but herself. Where else would she be?
