Brief Childhood History:
Liana was born in Adare, Ireland to Joanna and Seamus Greywood. She speaks with an Irish accent because of her nationality. Her mother had several miscarraiges before her. She is an only child because her parents were afraid to try again. They are a poor family. Her mother is a Muggle and her father is Pureblood. They lived happily together until Liana was eight years old.
Liana and her father were taking a walk in the woods when it got dark. They were walking home when Mr Greywood was attacked by a werewolf. His wizard friends that were in town next to the woods heard Liana screaming, and ran to the scene. They were too late, though. They managed to chase off the monster before it attacked the young girl, but it was too late for her father. He was dead before his friends arrived. Liana had to be carried off by John, her father's best friend.
Liana stopped speaking after that. She didn't want to speak to anyone but her father, and she couldn't do that. At first, her mother slumped in a depression. Liana cooked for her and helped her get along. Her mother got better a little bit. Liana stayed silent, and was getting better as well. But she was replaced by John when her mother began a romantic relationship with her father's old friend. Liana got worse, and her hatred for John grew. She cut herself off from society, as well as from her mother and John.
Liana was jubilant when she received her letter from Hogwarts because it meant that she could get away from her life at home. She wondered if she would make any friends.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Liana is very smart and studious. She is loyal to what she believes is right, as well as friendships. She is very excellent at, and exceeds greatly in Defense Against the Dark Arts and Transfiguration.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Liana is concerned about her grades, and will almost never go against a teacher or staff member because of this. She is very shy as well. She is deathly afraid of werewolves, and her boggart is the creature. Liana hates Divination. She thinks that it's a waste of time. She is also not very successful at Potions because she thinks that it is very stressful.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: I think that Liana belongs in Ravenclaw because she is very clever and smart. She almost always gets good grades, and will obsess over it if she doesn't.
