Brief Childhood History: Henry was born in London, England to Allen and Theresa Rutledge. He was the middle child of three children. His older brother, Gavin, is ten years older than Henry and his younger sister, Bridget, is only two years younger than Henry. His parents were both wizards and had both been in the house of Slytherin during their years at Hogwarts and they hope their children will end up just the same.
Henry grew up being taught by his parents, since they hated muggles so much that they didnt want any of their children going to a muggle primary school. His parents worked long and hard to make sure that Henry would be prepared for his first year at Hogwarts once his letter was to arrive when he was eleven. Henry spent most of his free-time rough housing with his brother and learning the ways of the wizarding world.
During his childhood, Henry was raised by his parents to be as cocky and judgmental as he could be, and that’s exactly how he turned out to be. His parents had always shown a strong distaste for muggles and it surely was passed on to Henry.
Henry grew up getting everything he wanted, and was often insensitive when it came to others feelings. Don’t be fooled, though, he does have a soft side. It just takes an awful lot for a person to bring it out of him. Overall, Henry is just an insecure person who was taught the wrong morals and life lessons.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Academically, Henry would do really well in Potions. His parents had explained a lot about potions to him as a kid, and Henry just always seemed, well, fascinated in the subject. Personality wise, Henry is courageous, outgoing, and he even has a soft side to him. He is loyal and friendly to those that don’t get make him angry or get under his skin.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Astronomy would definitely have to be Henry’s weak point. When it comes to stars, he really just doesn’t care at all and he shows no interest whatsoever. Therefore, he will probably be slacking a lot in this class. Personality wise, Henry is cocky, arrogant, and often rude at times. He will pick on muggleborns since he isn’t very fond of them and can be a bit dangerous when he’s angry.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: I believe that Henry would probably do well in the Slytherin house, given his judging personality and his cocky, troublesome ways. He would fit right in with the crowd.
