Brief Childhood history: Alex grew up with what seemed to be an average life. She was born and raised in London. Her mother was a witch, but her father wasn't. She has grown used to a life that doesn't involve much physical work, but she does have the determinaton to work when nessassary. Her determination, and high grades at school led her parents to agree to send her to a prestigious private school. She quickly found that the other kids there weren't as accepting as the kids she was used to. She tried her best to fit in, but they all knew she was different, and they didn't like it.
After a year or two in her private school, St. Mangum's, she found herself begging to come home. She wanted to be home more than anything. The kids at St. Mangum's were just too cruel. Her parents caved and let her come home. Now, a year later, she has recieved a letter from Hogwarts.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Alex is very determind, and won't stop when she wants something. She always works her hardest in everything she does. She also has a soft spot for almost everyone. She is quick to make friends, and loves people. She has always been good with cooking, and brewing, so naturally she is great at potions. She has great love of the Defense Against the Dark Arts, simply because she hopes that one day she can defend herself, and others against all evil things.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic):Alex has extremely low self-esteem. She always thinks she's doing everything wrong, even when she's not. This leads her to do poor in Transfiguration simply because she gets flustered, and nervous, and never focuses on what she needs to be changing something into. She is also awful at Divination, because she believes the future isn't set in stone, and things are always changing, therefore, no one can tell the future. Alex is quick to get frustrated, but she can mask it very well.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why:Alex belongs in Ravenclaw because she always has a solution for everything. She can keep a level head in the craziest of situations. She always has a plan. She is crazy smart, and loves to learn. She wishes she could know everything, but she knows she never can. She loves riddles, and challenges. (All of the mental sort of course.)
