Brief Childhood History: Ariadne lived on a farm which her mother and father owned throughout her childhood. Unfortunately, soon after she turned 10 her mother died in a car crash. Her father remarried shortly after due to the loneliness he felt although the woman he married seemed only after his money. Ariadne is a tomboy who prefers the outdoors to sitting infront of a mirror. She can play Quidditch fairly well, yet prefers to read. Because of her mother being a Romance Novelist, Ariadne seems to have turned out to be the Hopeless Romantic. She was discovered by her father to have magical ability when she was 6 and set the curtains ablaze during a tantrum for ice cream. But hey, a girl has to have her ice cream.
Ariadne’s new stepmum was not very nice. Not cruel but not friendly at all. Mostly she just acted as if Ariadne was not there. Imagine her delight when Ariadne was enrolled at Hogwarts, a boarding school. Along with a stepmum she also gained a stepsister and although she had always wanted a sister, Clarissa was a stuck up girl who was only interested in fashion. She tended to be more vicious towards Ariadne who of course fought back and ended up being the one in trouble, more often than not. Ariadne’s Father was too busy with his new job to mind. He couldn’t really bear working on the farm anymore after his wife’s death and consoled himself with vodka.
Ariadne was more often than not at her Grandmothers, whenever she could get away. This was the good thing that came out of the move. Unlike most Grannys, she was rather peculiar with the fact she was once a pro female wrestler. From her, Ariadne seemed to have got her left and right hook.

Strengths (Iand Academic)ncluding Personality : Ariadne is casually described as being the ‘Granddaughter’ type because she is so happy-go-lucky and has a smile that lights up a room that elderly people tend to think of their granddaughters. She is kind and generous. Academically wise, her favourite subjects are Transfiguration, Charms and Potions. She is a studious pupil who doesn’t give up quite so easily.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Ariadne although kind can get quite bitter. This is mainly due to her mother’s sudden death, and over the years her Hopeless Romantic lifestyle has warped into a more cynical and sarcastic one. Once she has made her mind up, she won’t change it which can be pretty bad in some cases when she wants to throw pranks on enemies. She is positively awful at History of Magic and tends to use that lesson to catch up on sleep. She also finds Divination one of the most boring subjects on the planet and even though she tries really hard she will probably always be mediocre at Defence against the dark arts.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: I would say my character belongs in Gryffindor or Hufflepuff. I would say Ravenclaw but her work ethic probably wouldn’t get her through it. Overall I would say Gryffindor is the most compatible match, because Ariadne tends to come off strongly but courageous.
