Brief Childhood History: Leona's dad is Markham Gryffin, a former supporter of the Dark Lord. Her mother is Kaleigh Lamel, a pureblood who works at the ministry and is half her father's age. She has a half brother named Arturo Gryffin, and two half sisters named Ariana and Lira. Ariana is older, Lira is younger. They both hate Leona because their shared mother cheated on their father with Leona's father, ruining their family forever. Arturo seems indifferent, but he secretly looks out for Leona, because she is nineteen years younger then he is. Kaleigh loves Leona, but never sees her because she lives with her father. At a young age, Leona's closest friend was a young boy named Carter Masterson. He was a Muggle that lived down the road from her. Unfortunately, her father found out that the two were friends, and immediately moved away. She was raised as a combination effort between her father and older brother. They taught her to become a very private person, and to never show any weakness. When she refused to comply, her father grew angry and secluded himself in his room. That's when her brother Arturo would step in and play the role of father. Leona never attended school before Hogwarts. Her father believed that a pureblood should never associate with Muggles, and so he homeschooled her. Her favorite thing to do as a young girl was read. She began reading at the age of four, and it became her favorite pastime. At the age of eight, she began making up stories and writing them down, sharing them only with Carter and her brother.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): She has a strong personality. She is normally a sweet girl to members of her own house and others. Her strengths lie in Charms, Potions, and surprisingly History of Magic. One of her goals is to free herself from her parents legacy and have her own life.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): She gets almost manic around exam time, studying so hard that her friends have to bodily lift her and stick her in the shower. They'll even have to occasionally call an older student (female, naturally) to come and bind her loosly to her bed so that she'll sleep. She loves to read and write, but if you interrupt her while she's doing either... well, it's your neck. She's scared of not being accepted into her house and/or social circles because of what her parents did. Her acedemic weakness is Transfiguration and Herbology.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: I would say that she's either a Gryffindor or a Slytherin, because there's definitely conflicting sides of her personality. She's very loyal, and brave (look at her parents, she has to be) but she also has aspects about her temperament that make her a Slytherin. If I had to choose, I'd say that she's a Gryffindor.
