First and Last Name: Ewan Adie
Bloodline: Half
Hair Color: Blonde
Eye Color: Blue
General Build: Average
Height: Tall
Birthplace: A small town in the Outer Scottish Hebrides
Brief Childhood History:
Ewan was born in the Outer Hebrides. His parents, muggle-born Kenna MacCullach and wizard Edan Adie weren't married. They lived together together until Ewan was nine; two years after his little sister Annabel was born. When his parents split, Ewan stayed in the Hebrides with his father, while his mother took Annabel and moved south to a small wizarding town called Mottlebrush near Newcastle.
Ewan's father was a former Quidditch player, so he was brought up to the sport. His father was only a minor player in his day and somewhat hopes to live vicariously through his son, therefore he encouraged Ewan to also pursue a professional career in the sport. Ewan practically learned to ride a broom before he could walk, and he has high hopes for making his house team when he’s old enough. Surviving his first year at Hogwarts while not being allowed a broom will be a challenge for him.
On the subject of magic in general, Ewan was less promising at a young age, and his parents almost thought he might be a squib until he turned four and sent a China pot flying around the room. Things also tend to explode when he’s trying to charm them.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Ewan is friendly and honest. He wants to do the right thing, and isn’t afraid to stand up for what he thinks is right. He is very athletic, and would excel at Quidditch lessons. Because he has a high level of energy, classes with a more physical aspect outside of a traditional classroom environment suit him better, like Herbology, Care of Magical Creatures in his third year, or possibly Defense Against the Dark arts, depending on the instructor.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Ewan can be a bit thick, and is sometimes somewhat of an airhead. He wouldn’t do well in classes that involve fine control, at least not in his early years at school, so he would likely not fair well in Charms or Transfiguration, and he would unfortunately likely fall asleep during History of Magic.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: I feel that Ewan would be best suited to Gryffindor. He’s an honest kid, and he’s brave. He is not clever enough for Ravenclaw, and the type of ambition he has isn’t the kind that would suit Slytherin.
