Brief Childhood History: Her parents, both from wealthy families, had been betrothed since childhood but fell in love nonetheless and have since enjoyed a loving and strong marriage. Being born to a wealthy Pureblood family gave Kate everything a young witch could wish for. She had every toy she desired, she had a music teacher and a private tutor to follow her education since she was six. She loves cats and owns 4 of them, Auburn Primrose Snowball and Sunshine. She's very close to her older brother Victor, who's five years her senior and the heir, and even tried to emulate every stunt he performed on the Quidditch pitch since she could stay on a broomstick.
Although she is proud of being Pureblood she wasn't brought up as a narrow-minded bigot and she always treats everybody with courtesy. She enjoys discovering new places and meeting new friends, understandably she stayed up all night on her eleventh birthday to be the first to spot her Hogwarts' owl.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Kate is very smart, she knows that and wants everybody else to know it too. Her memory is almost infallible ensuring that she only has to pay attention in class to pass any sort of test on the subject. That being said she shows a great partiality to Charms and History of Magic. She's full of creativity and has a wicked sense of humour. She is very proud of her family and can become downright nasty if something bad is said about it.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Her pride can be a double-bladed sword, she often hesitate in asking for help and can hold on to a grudge for ages. She is almost never on time, despite the best of education she simply cannot keep track of the time. She is somewhat squeamish with slimy or smelly fluids and substances, making her dread Potions and Herbology practicals.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Kate is friendly, outgoing and likes to be surrounded with people, though she has to be one of the leaders or she'll feel under-appreciated. She loves learning new things but she prefers an exciting adventure rather than a long afternoon sitting down in front of a dusty book. Kate has a good understanding of the difference between good and bad, but she has no problem resorting to lying and cheating if it serves her purpose. Does that not spell Slytherin to everyone?
