Hi All!!
it is time. Time for that announcement. We got the applications. We read them through with a fine tooth comb. We discussed them at length. We created imaginary scenarios involving each potential captain and their reaction to the following things being thrown ONTO the Quidditch field- separately and together: A sheep, A duck, A million water balloons, a package of dixie cup brand paper cups, and the entire Disney World(R) Main Street Electric Parade. We agonized over character histories and the consequences that being captain would have on said character being able to get the girl/boy at the end if they were to be captain. We re-read every Harry Potter book on Skype to each other, as well as Lord of the Rings, The Hunger Games, and some old 1990's Baby Sitters Club books, and we drew pictures of each captain on a pirate ship to see which one looked the most "Captainey"
