First and Last Name:Spencer Vaughan

Bloodline:Half-Blood

Hair Color:Light brown

Eye Color:Blue-green

General Build:Average

Height: Tall

Birthplace: Limerick, Ireland

Brief Childhood History: Spencer Lucas Vaughn Jr. was born to Spencer Vaughn Sr. and Vega (Lea) Vaughn. Born and raised in Limerick, Ireland, Spencer always knew he was a wizard. His father was a pureblood and his mother was a muggleborn. Despite never going to muggle school after a daycare incident when Spencer was a lad, the boy was homeschooled by his parents in both wizard and muggle academics. Because his mom grew up in the muggle world, he was fairly well-rounded and had a healthy respect for non-magic folk. Before Spence got his own wand, he would use his mother and father's wands, causing disastrous things to happen on the off chance that he made any magic, before they figured out it was Spencer taking their wands and kept them out of his reach. After that, Spencer would try his best at producing small amounts of magic without a wand, often unsuccessful.

Spencer's younger sister often showed more signs of being magic than he ever did. Whenever she threw a temper tantrum, windows would break. Whenever Spence threw one, he wound hurt his hands from slamming his fists on the ground so much.

The much anticipated wait for Spencer's Hogwarts letter had seemed longer and more painful than any wait in the young boy's life. Though Desmond used to use his parents wands and produced magic out of them a couple of times, he'd always figured it was the wand that as full of magic. Especially when he tried magic without a wand and couldn't get anything to happen most of the time.

Spencer was full of a lot of self-doubt, wondering whether or not the few times he'd shown magic in his life were delusions, or perhaps his parents trying to reassure him he was in fact a wizard. Though he didn't really doubt that he'd get his Hogwarts letter, he was still very relieved when it came.

Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Loyal, hardworking, obedient. Spencer is very appreciative for what he has and takes nothing for granted. He's very adventurous and loves to go exploring. This is both a pro and a con because it often has consequences and Spencer sometimes ends up getting hurt. Spencer finds the good in people even if there is no good to be seen. Spencer's strongest classes would either be potions or herbology, as very little (if any) magic is required in either.

Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Spencer is a bit too trusting. Once he trusts someone, he'll do anything for them. He knows there are bad people in the world, but he's too naive to believe that people would use him. He's the type of person that doesn't hold grudges. He'll give people second chances, and third chances, and fourth chances. He'll never give up on people, which can be a bad thing as some people constantly mistake his generosity for weakness. Spencer's weakest subjects would either be DADA or Transfiguration, as those are the classes that would require the most spells and magic to be going on.

What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: I think that my character would do best in Hufflepuff. He's outgoing, hardworking, friendly and a little too trusting. He's not the most confident of people, nor is he the smartest.

Hi there! Welcome to HPRPG!

Before we can get you sorted, there are still a few things to attend to.

It seems highly unlikely that two magical parents would leave their wands about so often that Spencer would be able to use them and cause disastrous things. I can see it happening once, on accident, but if it became too frequent, I'm sure the Ministry would step in. I'm also confused as to why Spencer would think he wasn't as good at magic like his younger sister, when both are not yet trained and don't know how to perform actual magic? It's not something anyone could really compare until both have been to Hogwarts.

If Spencer has been showing signs of magic as a child — even to go as far as using his parents' wands, I don't think he would actually have any doubts of being magical. That said, remember that Hogwarts acceptance letters do start coming in a few weeks before a child's eleventh birthday, so Spencer can't have waited until that close to term beginning.

Finally, you'll need to provide us with classes that Spencer would succeed in and struggle with in the strengths and weaknesses section.

Once you've done that, just change the title from 'pending' to 'edited'!
