Brief Childhood History: Everie grew up in the country, on a large ranch her family owned. Although her mother (who had gone to finishing school all her life) expected her to be a perfect young lady, drink tea, and throw formal parties to which all of her mother’s curly haired, thin waist, friends would attend. Her grandmother expected as much. It was Everie’s father who let her run free about the ranch in a pair of nappy overalls and braided hair.
Everie’s time at the ranch was good and well, consisting of wild geese chasing (literally) and grassy filed run through with bare feet. Her mother was usually off on some fashion expedition, and her father up in the study, working on his next novel. It was a sad loneliness that Everie had. Her father was her best friend. He taught Everie, and discovered her talent of poetry. Her mother, of course, strongly disapproved and got into a colossal argument that lasted just about as much as Everie’s time left on her blessed ranch. About a week.
It wasn’t long after, Everie’s father admitted that Mrs. Woodson had been asking him for years to send her off to a finishing school. Finally, he had agreed. They packed up her things, sniffling and sighing, but never shedding tears. Everie’s father packed her up in a car, and said one thing to her. You are special It was enough to motivate Everie to finish finishing school (Tee hee) and continue her dream of learning to play instruments and writing her own songs.
It wasn’t long until she made a few enemies as finishing school. The leader of their cult was Annabelle Salem. They tortured her constantly, calling her names, ruining the lovely dresses her mother had bought her, and played pranks on her constantly. She was growing exhausted of the horrid girls, and their hatred. So, she did something about it. Of course, it was all an accident.
Annabelle and her pack of followers sat across the lunch room from Everie, staring at her with intense and focus eyes. Everie starred at her lunch. They approached, talking about how pretty she’d curled her hair that day. Oh, too bad. One of Annabelle’s friend poured their milk over her head. It was game time, now. Everie looked up, her deep blue eyes burning. Annabelle’s milk cartoon exploded. The girl next to her milk exploded too. Soon, all of the girls following Annabelle had blown up cartons in their hands and milk on their faces. Annabelle and the posse screamed and ran off, leaving Everie to eat her lunch in silent.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Everie is temid, when it comes to new people. She is always sweet and kind, and never gets made at anyone but herself. She had trust issues beyond repair, and rarely makes friend. You could describe her as the lone wolf, who chose to be alone. Everie is known to be loyal and fierce when provoked by someone who hurts her friends, or bullies another.
Ever since Everie was a little girl, she’d been interested in plants, and anything that grows really. She loves to nurture and care for things, so naturally, she is interested in Herbology. Also, Everie loves the sky, the stars, and the moon, anything out of reach. So she is interested in flying too, as well as astronomy. Care of magical creatures also slids its way into her strenghts.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Everie is pretty anti-social. She hates talking when she doesn’t need to, why waste her breath? Everie couldn’t mix a thing to save her life, so naturally she fails at Potions and Charm. She doesn't have a memory for dates so history of magic is also a weak spot for her.
Everie isn't exactly the meanest person in the world, and she doesn't really stand up for herself, so she gets push around very easily. It's easy to take advantage of her, and people often do. Also, she had very little confidence, so she rarely takes part in anything that requires her to put herself out there.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Hufflepuff because of her loyal heart and hard working. She is also patient by far.
