Brief Childhood History: Daniel was born to Marcus and Joan Sethios in a very hot June. Daniel did not get to know his mother very well at all for just after his third birthday she was killed in a motorbike accident after being hit by a car. His father being a Muggle knew that he could never teach him or give him the head start in life that his mother could have given him, but he did his best and given the circumstances should have been given a medal.
The impact on Daniel from losing his mother was quite a significant one but was by no means the handicap that it could have been. His father talked about her a lot and always told him that she would be with him forever, always watching over and protecting him when he needed it the most. Daniel loves his father more than anything else in the world and they share a very strong bond that is extremely hard to break.
As Daniel grew a little older he turned into an energetic little child. He was always running here and there and didn’t slow down for anything, he was always down at the local park on the swing sets or swinging from the monkey bars. He loved playing football or riding on his bike and was always coming home filthy with cuts and scrapes on his knee’s.
Daniel’s first use of magic was when he was in the local park very close to his house. He was climbing a very tall conker tree trying to get to the very top for the massive conkers that sat on the highest of the branches. It took him some time to climb all the way to the top but he eventually did. He reached out to one of the spiky outer shells and started to lean further and further to try to reach it.
The branch that he was holding onto for support could only take the boys weight for so long and eventually snapped under the strain. Daniel fell through the branches of the tree and was very lucky that he did not hit any of the branches on the way down. Before he hit the ground Daniel squeezed his eyes shut and awaited the impact. But the impact never came, he opened his eyes and found himself looking down at the grass that was only inches away from his face, safe to say that Daniel didn’t climb any more tree’s that summer and since that time has not been able to do anything else magical.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Daniel is a very genuine person and quite mature for his age. He says what he means and is usually straight to the point. He does not mind asking questions and is naturally curious about all things magic.
For academics Daniel’s best classes would most likely be things like flying or defense against the dark arts, classes that actively engage him with practical work will be the ones with the highest grades.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Because Daniel is a doer if someone is teaching him, he needs to be able to touch and to see or else it will most likely not stick in his mind. He needs more practical work than he does theory.
Daniel can become bored quite easily and needs to be doing something to burn off some of the excess energy that he has, no doubt when he is old enough he will try out for the quidditch team as a means of keeping that energy in check.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Daniel would best be suited I think to Gryffindor, his mother was a Gryffindor and out of all of the other houses the values that Daniel has are closer to Gryffindor than any other house. However, only the Sorting Hat truly knows what house he will belong to.
