Brief Childhood History: Dimitri's family had been magic since the very beginning of its creation many centuries ago, when a Russian man named Lance Volimiv discovered his magical talent and isolated himself from the muggle world. Ever since, his descendants, under the new name of Kazmirov, had been purely magic and only intermarried into magic families. After a time, they began intermarrying into each other, creating a very large, elitist clan of wizards and witches of Russian. Dimitri's parents migrated to England from Russia over a summer vacation. They had spent the entirety of June and July in London, and loved it so much that they purchased a house in a neighborhood populated by all wizards and witches. Dimitri was born that following November, shortly before his entire clan moved to London as well. His birthdays were extravagant and lovely, and to this day those childhood memories remind him of a happier time.
While growing up, his parents would take him on vacation around the world. Throughout their travels, Dimitri loved seeing the exotic, magical creatures more than anything else he saw. When he grew up, he swore that someday he would get a pet dragon. Because his parents traveled a lot, Dimitri grew accustomed to speaking mainly to his parents and no one else, and never truly made close or lasting friendships. This continued to permeate even into the first few months of his tenth summer, during which time he discovered he was going to Hogwarts. He would be the first of his family to attend the school, and his parents told him early that he was to give their clan a good name while he was there. Before he had even set foot on the grounds, he had a reason to excel.
Ever since he was small, Dimitri had shown an eagerness to learn magic. To say he was a natural was out of the question, but he was studious and relentless when he applied himself. The day he was enrolled at Hogwarts, after buying his school supplies, he was given a silver amulet with his family crest engraved into it, to wear around school and distinguish himself as an official member of the Kazmirov clan. As he nervously boarded the train to school for the first time, Dimitri couldn't help but sigh when his parents started to wave at him. The train began to roll away from the station, and without the guidance of his clan or his parents, Dimitri didn't know if he could make it as a wizard. No one sat in his compartment, and when the snack trolley came his way, he refused to eat. Despite all this, he resolved not to go home without a reputable academic report for his parents. He wouldn't disappoint them.
Despite living in a Russian house with his Russian clan, he speaks little to no Russian, and has developed a Russo-British accent.
Strengths: Dimitri is determined to prove he can become a Wizard. Despite having almost no natural talent or unique gifts, he could learn anything he would ever need to through sheer study, willpower and practice. He is bright and a very quick study, and will pick up almost any spell or charm within a few days of learning it. Although his personality dictates solitary study, he is actually a very sweet and generous soul. Because of the wealth his family possesses, any close friends he has can expect financial assistance from him, especially for school-related projects. He will follow rules and orders to the letter and always meets deadlines/duedates. His love for living things, like plants and animals, also gives him an innate love for Herbology, Potions and Care of Magical Creatures.
Weaknesses: Despite being a wonderful person, Dimitri has a very hard time socializing. He prefers to sit in a corner with a book and his wand, learning new spells instead of making friends. When someone approaches him too quickly or too loudly, he will shut down socially and retract into silence. This is his biggest personality flaw; being so shy prevents him from directly speaking to other people easily. As such, he struggles with classes where he is called upon for answers by the teacher, such as Divinations and Flight, and classes where students sit directly next to him, such as Potions and Charms. He tries his best within those classes, but often recluses when someone speaks to him.
Other things of note about him include how pale and scrawny he is in comparison to most boys his age. He is remarkably thin and lacks athleticism to a degree where long hikes and heavy lifting tire him quickly. His skin burns faster than average as well, and cannot tolerate the sun for hours at a time without producing a level of discomfort.

Upon even further consideration, I feel Hufflepuff would be perfect for him. His love for living things and natural affection for animals would allow him to thrive in an environment where people can relate to him through that. On a slightly more OOC note, the waiting list can only be reduced if more Hufflepuff members are found.
