Brief Childhood History: Comhan was born with a female twin and two older sisters. As the only boy around the house he spent as much time as he could with his dad, even when he was at the forge working on his craft. It was expected that his twin would have magic like there sisters and mom as in mum's family it was always the women that had magic and there had not been a magical boy in as far as anyone could remember. Both of his parents were shocked when he started having spurts of accidental magic when he was almost three years old. His first burst caused his teddy bear change into a plush form of a sword that his dad keep in the family room.
When he was eight is dad agreed to allow him to help with the billows at the forge and started to teach him the bagpipes. As he spent more time out in the forge or helping his granddad out in his garden he was always heavier than others his age and he was quite a bit stronger. His granddad noticed that he had a knack for building things and that he was interested in wand lore as well as the production of wands. What little time he spent with his sisters the quickly learned that he was a horrible fibber but that like his dad's side of the family he was loyal to a fault when it came to family or anyone that was seen as an ally or close friend.
When he was nine his family went on a trip to America to visit some of his mum's family that immigrated, while staying with them the house was set on fire by an arsonist. After being awaken by his parents he noted that his sister had not come out of the house yet and they were the only ones still inside, he did the only thing he could think of he ran back inside to try and find them. He made his way through the burning house to the room on the second floor where is sisters had been sleeping to find that he could hear them panicking on the other side of the flaming doorway. Only thinking of saving his sisters he smashed through the flaming door to make a way out. When the door came down he passed out from smoke inhalation right into the burning wreckage of the door, his sisters seeing their way out grabbed him and fled out of the house. By the time that the fire department got on site the house was not but a pile of burning embers. Comhan spent four days in a magical hospital to heal his burns and other injuries.
Both he and is twin were ecstatic to get there letters to go to Hogwarts but they had both been talking about the possibility of going to a school different part of the world. As one of their older sisters was going school in America and they thought it would be nice to offer the chance to go to the same school as she did. His twin chose to go to school in America leaving him to go to Hogwarts by himself.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Comhan is Loyalty to a fault, with a dash of stupid bravado bravery. He takes his studying very seriously, and has always been very good at test taking, with an innate knowledge of metallurgy that shocks his blacksmith granddad, and a refusal to give up are his Personality Strengths. As a child all of his accidental magic was transfiguration and he retained a knack for it as he grew older. With is want to protect his family he pressed himself at Charms, DADA, and Care of Magical Creatures to make sure he knew the theory to protect his family makeing them his Academic Strengths.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Inability to give up a grudge has caused some issues with the neighbors, and he's is larger then the normal 11 year old dew to the fact that he has helped his granddad out the forge with the billows the age of six and was doing some minor smithing starting at the age of nine years and six mounths old causing others to be skittish thinking because of his size that his is just anther bully. These are his two biggest Personality Weaknesses. He has trouble with Herboligy as he has a brown thumb and can kill even the most resilient of plants in a garden, Divination in his eye is a wast of time so he just refuses to try at it, and he has issues putting his thoughts down in essay format making these his weakest points from an academic standpoint.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why:
Comhan could do well in either as a Huff. As he is loyal to a fault if he sees you as worthy of his loyalty, and at the same time he will stand up to protect those whom cannot protect themselves without thinking too much about it.
