Brief Childhood History:
Kaelyn was born in a small neighborhood on the outskirts of Belfast and was four years old when her mother died of an unknown illness. The memories before that consisted only of a hush lullaby that her mother sang to her before bed. Her father, who had no idea how to raise a child and still be able to manage his small apothecary business, invited his sister to come live with them. And so, Kaelyn was raised by her aunt, who read her old wizards’ tales before bed and told her stories about her days at Hogwarts.
Her aunt was not just her mother figure in her life, but also her teacher. She would give Kaelyn simple lessons on history and such. The other children in the neighborhood thought of Kaelyn as peculiar and unusually timid. They didn’t like the thought of Kaelyn joining their games. So Kaelyn spent a lot of her time in her bedroom, usually reading a good book while watching the other kids play outside her window.
Kaelyn became extremely interested in her father’s business, and longed for him to take her to his work. She was especially curious about the potions he brewed. After seeing the apothecary with bewilderment and wonder, her respect for her father’s profession began to grow. She loved her father, but was also a bit frightened of him. He seemed, to her, a higher power, full of magic and mystery. When Kaelyn was old enough to stay up late, her father would sometimes take her to stargaze on the roof. These were her favorite memories of all. She loved to sit back with a mug of butterbeer and listen to her dad’s ancient tales of the constellations.

Because of her father’s lover for the stars, Kaelyn will succeed in astronomy. She’s very attentive in her work and is a great listener during class.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic):
Kaelyn is very clumsy and shy. She’s afraid that she’ll have a hard time making friends. Her weakest class is transfiguration and, to her father’s dismay, potions.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why:
I think Kaelyn belongs in Ravenclaw because she has a great admiration for knowledge and has a thirst for reading and learning.
