Brief Childhood History: Evangeline was born to a family of purebloods, her mother was a witch and her father was a wizard.They both studied in Hogwarts and later on lived in Manchester. They weren't rich but lived really well, his father worked at the Ministry of Magic, while her mother, being brought up as a muggle, preferred to work as one, but eventually she also worked at the ministry. Evangeline had all she needed and could ever think of having as a little girl.
When she was 4 years old her mother died, they never knew how though. She was devastated and started to alienate herself from the world; she kept to herself most of the time and became very shy. It was then that her father decided to live a muggle life and move to London where he thought the memory of her mother would hurt her less. So when she was six years old they moved to York. The atmosphere was better there since there were less things that reminded her of her mother, so she started to make friends and become more sociable.
Years later, his father met a woman, a muggle woman with whom he fell in love and later got married which made them move once again, this time to London. She didn't really liked the idea of his father getting married for she believed that her mother was being replaced. But as time went by she realized that the woman was actually nice and only meant the best for them both, even when she found out her father was a wizard.
When she was eleven (just a few months ago) the owl finally arrived and both, her father and his new wife, were excited about her going to Hogwarts. So she is now off to hogwarts.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): She is very smart, not only in class but in life. Being raised by only her father and standing the death of her mother, she's stronger than people thinks. She's analytic and cunning, never acts against her better judgement and is willing to sacrifice herself to save anyone who is in danger and she cared about. In school, she's really dedicated and responsible, she would be really good in charms and potions, although defense against the dark arts has always attracted her, ever since her father talked to her about the classed.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): She's short tempered and a little messy, doesn't like explaining things twice and expects everyone to understand things as fast as she understands. She's not so patient either, which makes her become irritated a lot more rapidly. Academically, one class that she fears is Flying because she's not too fond of brooms. She also dislikes History of Magic and finds Care of magical creatures a bit boring, but she's willing to give it a shot.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Gryffindor or Slytherin, is a little contradictory, I know. But I'd rather have her in Gryffindor, because she's brave and courageous and is not afraid of a challenge. She obeys rules, and cares about people and is willing to make sacrifices for the people she loves the most.
