Ivy Chairton- Approved [R]
« on: 13 Aug 2011, 02:50 pm »
First and Last Name: Ivy Chairton

Bloodline: Pure-Blood
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Green
General Build: Skinny
Height: Average

Birthplace: Dublin - Republic of Ireland
Brief Childhood History: Ivy Chairton was born and raised in the republic of Ireland, and got teased for having strange parents, and being so anti-social. She always wore a hoodie over her head or a hat. She is very ambitious and would do anything for her pure-blood parents, mainly because she respects them. She didn't have many friends, but would sometimes go to the movies with one of the few friends. Ivy was a troublemaker before she was 11, her parents knew, but didn't bother doing anything about it.

Ivy was a bit clumsy for awhile, she always knocked over chairs and tripped over peoples feet. They always laughed and snickered at her, just because she was.... Different. She always just got up, glared, and walked off. Nobody even went near her, they called her weirdo, horse-face, and some rather bad names. Ivy's life was a bit hard, but her parents always tried cheering her up, so that helped. When her parents were away, she snuck into their library and took a couple defense against the dark arts books and studied. She knew her parents were wizards, so she was wary around their secrets.

Ivy always was an outcast, but she was even more of one when she got into a fight with one of the bullies of the school. But then, the letter came, in emerald green writing. The hogwarts letter. Ivy didn't like the sound of a new school, but her parents made her go, so she grabbed some of her fireworks and started packing.

Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Ivy Chairton would be great at Charms because she can keep a steady mind when she wants to and can keep her hand straight and flick her wrist in many directions. She might be good at Defense Against the Dark Arts, because, well, she always studied it when she was younger. Ivy's family is one of the rich types, and so she could persuade a lot of people to do something, for, she always keeps a small coin purse with her.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Ivy's biggest weakness is the fact that she is very anti-social and finds it hard to meet and talk to new people. She would be terrible at flying, because it would be terrible for her. Ivy wouldn't be able to mount a bucking broom because her balance is terrible. She can hardly stand up on one foot for thirty seconds and could probably be knocked over easily by a spell. Ivy's other big difficulty is holding in her anger and sadness until she can't take it anymore and explodes out at the first person she sees. Her worst subject would probably be history of magic because she never bothers to study the history besides her families history.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Slytherin or Ravenclaw. Slytherin because she is more ambitious than smart and would do anything to get power and respect, if only she was a bit less shy. Ravenclaw because she always loves to read and will study a lot if she needs too. She would never pass up a test and always stays up  late just to finish her late homework. Ivy doesn't know which one she would rather be in,  so she would just let the sorting hat choose for her.

P.S I would like her to be in Ravenclaw

Hi and welcome to hprpg :D

I just have to ask why the change to white hair is necessary? Considering she's going to a  boarding school in the UK, she'd likely be required to have a natural hair color, and I really don't see a developmental reason based on your sheet why her mother would need to change her hair.  :sweatdrop: So, could you please edit your sheet and give Ivy a natural hair color? :D

And yes, once your sheet is edited and acceptable, we can put you on the waiting list for Slytherin or Ravenclaw, but you'll have to pick which one you'd prefer. Slytherin has a really long waiting list at the moment.

When you've made your changes, please switch your subject line from 'pending' to 'edited' and someone will come and have a look~

Thanks for the edits, but sadly Ravenclaw is also closed, so I'm going to have to put you on the waiting list anyway.  :sweatdrop: We'll sort Ivy as soon as a spot opens up, but if you want to change her sheet to make her fit into an open house (currently only Hufflepuff) you can do that as well. Just reply here to let us know~
