First and Last Name: Gianette D'Amato

Bloodline: Pureblood
Hair Color: Mahogany Brown
Eye Color: Honey Brown
General Build: Petite
Height: Short

Birthplace: Edinburgh, Scotland
Brief Childhood History: Gianette was born on the 13 of October to magical botanist Fabrizio and his wife Bianca D'Amato. Prior to Gianette's birth, the family had moved from Italy to England so that Fabrizio could study the magical plants native to the area. Gianette was raised by her mother, but her father was very present in her life. Her mother is the responsible parent, while her father is the fun one. Gianette grew up very loved, living in a small cottage in the country side. Her father's greenhouse is almost larger than the house itself.
Growing up, she didn't leave the house much, except to go with her father on his trips into the countryside and forests to study, so she doesn't have much experience with people her own age. Her father taught her about being brave and facing the unknown, something important both to his work and, in his mind, life. Additionally, her mother worked hard to teach her manners and social graces, and to always be loyal to ones friends and ones self.

Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Gianette is creative and loves to doodle. She also enjoys reading. She is very social and loyal to friends. She is slow to speak up but when she does she is passionate and won't back down. Thanks to her father's teaching, she is very brave and enjoys entering the unknown. She has something of a head start on her fellow students in the Herbology and Potions front due to her father's occupation and is good at remembering details, so History of Magic will be easy for her.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): She tends to be very awkward around strangers and is afraid of large crowds. Though she is social, she can be very uncomfortable with people her own age due to being raised with her mother and father and no children. She tends to let her curiosity get the better of her, a trait inherited from her father. She has trouble with Transfiguration, Defense Against the Dark Arts and Charms, along with other classes that require a lot of wandwork.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: I feel like Gianette probably suited to go in any house except Slytherin, but the house she personally would most like to be in is Gryffindor. She is very brave and very loyal, traits that she works hard to possess and exemplify.
