Brief Childhood History: Ruby's childhood seemed to be perfect. She had a few muggle best friends and her family seemed to be doing fine in the Wizarding World. She always explored the outdoors with her friends and saw new plants and animals. Her friends loved her but didn't actually know she was a witch. That was until she used some underage magic in the forest with her friends. It was by accident of course, but her friends were scared of Ruby and wouldn't ask her to hang out with them anymore. She mostly spent time with her mum, learning how to cook and helping her family out with chores.

Everything seemed to go downhill from there on. Ruby's older brother had become friends with supporters of the Dark Lord. As her brother got older he seemed distant to his family until he finally got married and left, barely contacting his family again. Her family was very distant to her so she mostly spent her time alone and reading. Before Ruby started Hogwarts, her dad had admitted that the family supported the Dark Lord and he wanted her to support him too. She followed his instructions for fear of losing her family's respect. Because of Ruby's family and how they followed the Dark Lord, Ruby didn't have any friends when she came to Hogwarts.  
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Ruby loves other Slytherins and people who have the same point of view as her. She loves Potions and Defence Against the Dark Arts and even studies after class sometimes. She has a sweet tooth and likes sneaking snacks and treats into her dorm and sometimes even into her classroom.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic):  When a muggleborn or a Gryffindor talks to her, she gets quite annoyed and sometimes says rude things she has learned to say from her father.  Other than Potions or Defence Against the Dark Arts, Ruby slacks in her other classes and sometimes even avoids them because she's not interested. She doesn't get along with most people because of her views of the Dark Lord. Ruby can also get mad easily.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Ruby belongs in Slytherin because she's shrewd and very ambitious when she wants to be (like in Potions or Defence Against the Dark Arts).

There's just a few changes I have to ask you to make. The subject of drug and alcohol abuse and physical abuse can be a very touchy one for some people. HPRPG is a family friendly environment, and we do are best to keep things here comfortable for everyone. We're aware that there are problems in the world, and you are welcome to imply that Ruby didn't have a perfectly happy family, but please try to keep things vague out of respect for our members and staff who may be upset by such topics. So, you're going to have to edit out the references to the drug and alcohol abuse, as well as the physical abuse.

Also, it's unlikely that Voldemort would directly use Ruby's family for a mission from himself personally. He had a very small inner circle, and all of those who were in it were named in the books. They could have done things in the name of the Dark Lord, but not a direct assignment.

One last thing   Slytherins aren't placed in their house just because of their family line, or because they support Voldemort. They have to possess traits such as ambition or cunning, as it's their personality that ultimately gets them sorted.

Just one more thing, sorry Could you just take out the reference to Death Eaters all together?  Ruby's brother is welcome to befriend Voldemort supporters, (even though he is dead in our timeline), but all of the canon Death Eaters have been named and most are in jail or dead. >.>

Can you expand a bit more on Ruby's history? Maybe tell us how her life was seemingly perfect before. We'd like at least 2-3 paragraphs in this section, so let us get to know Ruby some more.
