First and Last Name: Marigold Humdinger

Bloodline: Pureblood
Hair Color: Dark Brown / Black
Eye Color: Brown
General Build: Petite
Height: Tall

Birthplace: Wiltshire, England
Brief Childhood History:
Marigold grew up the almost middle child between her two older sisters, Hyacinth and Posey, and her younger brother, Juniper, in a small wizarding community in Wiltshire where a handful of other families have settled for privacy. The tight-knit community has become almost like an extended family for those who live year-round in the area and created a wholesome, storybook-esque place to raise children. The families home school their children together, bringing about a more supportive environment.

Her parents, a stay at home mother and a line manager at a cauldron supply distributor, have prided themselves on raising mostly well rounded, hard working, grounded children. While not bringing in the bucks, the family has always managed to live comfortably, though mindful of their budget. Marigold has honestly never noticed the difference between those families with money and those without, as she has grown up in our own little world of creation and been oblivious to many day-to-day happenings of her family.

Growing up imaginative and active, Marigold has relished the freedom of the country and the privacy of where they live since she was old enough to leave the protection of the front gates of their home. While there have not been many other children for her to play with, she has often made due with imaginary friends and her younger brother who she gets along with far better than her older sisters. Going from the freedom of Wiltshire to the rules and regulations of a school is not something Marigold has been looking forward to, despite the claims by her sisters that there is plenty of fun to be had.

Strengths (Including Personality and Academic):
Marigold is a very creative and imaginative young lady with a voracious appetite for reading - though some would argue if all the books are informative. She is a visionary thinker and communicates ideas very well, using an expressive vocabulary to share what is going on in her head. She gets along well with her peers, and has a forgiving nature that  has developed through a knack for justifying peoples words and actions. Marigold reads and writes exceedingly well and so she tends to do better in such glasses as History of Magic or Potions, though that is usually only with written instructions or assignments.

Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic):
Her head always in the clouds, Marigold takes the term 'a dreamer' to a whole new level. If she is not interested or engaged in something or someone, she slips easily into her own daydreams and play fantasies - tending to leave those who she is ignoring to feel disrespected, uninteresting, or otherwise unwanted. A voracious reader, Marigold will often choose a very good book over a decent friend and has been known to defend her literary friends more strongly than her corporeal ones. Her lack of focus has caused her grades to suffer quite a bit, and while she has the aptitude to do very well, Marigold tends to eek by with only average (and sometimes below average) marks. Classes such as Charms holds very little charm for her, and so most of her attempts do tend to be disasters.

What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why:
I guess it would be Hufflepuff. Her sense of loyalty can be considered misplaced in her literary heroes and daydream fantasies, but it is true loyalty none the less. She is friendly and patient with those who genuinely want to share in her imaginings and values these traits in others.
