Brief Childhood History: Lee was born in the UK to the muggle-born witch, Mia, and to the half-blood wizard Kai. Lee was raised in two residences, the home of his parents in the UK, and he spent summer visiting with his mother to her parent's village in rural China. Upholding a promise with her father, Mia and her husband would raise Lee in a magic-less environment, aka a muggle's life. He attended school during the regular school year, and enjoyed the 'simple' life style in the rural country side in the summer. While in school, Lee was encouraged to always do his homework and to listen in class. By doing so he would do well in school and be rewarded with the praise of his parents. It was what made him happy. In the summer, spending time in the rural country side allowed him to feel the 'freedom' of being away from city life. He loved to play with the animals and asking his grandparents what things were. The environment between the two places greatly differed and allowed him to experience new things. One time, Lee was playing with chickens, later on he would realized that he ate his chicken friend he was playing with earlier. Eventually, when he came to age, his parents, in the presence of his grandparents revealed that he was a wizard and was given the choice to walk down the same path his mother did, or to remain as a regular muggle child. As much as he loved everything he knew then, he wanted to see more of the world. As a kid, knowing only the city before seeing the world his grandparents lived was an amazing one. He wanted to see another.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Youthful and full of energy, Lee has experienced more of the physical side of life. He is always ready to move and try new things. His strength for academics come from trying anything and everything. He lived in a culture where kids did well in everything in school, and so expectations of himself have not changed. Class-wise, his initial strength would be in History of Magic, since it is the course which resembles the format of a muggle classroom out of everything.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): His weakness is that he lacks experience and background in anything in the wizarding world. It can be said he lacks 'affinity' for magic, though that does not stop him from trying his best. He would not do well in classes such as Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Herbology, Potions and Transfiguration because he have any logic nor common sense about the wizarding world. He is likely to try to hard at school despite not making the connections between magical topics and likely to exhaust himself in class relatively quickly, despite initial enthusiasm.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Going through the houses, I believe Lee is most fitted to be a Hufflepuff. This is because he is a hard worker. Also because of the background he has, his worth ethnic is going to be a strong theme for the character to learn about the world of magic.
