Brief Childhood History: Laney was mainly raised by her father, Goodwin Paloni. Her mother, Elaine, left her right after she was born, leaving her to her father. Goodwin, heart broken, named Laney after her mother.
Goodwin taught Laney her basic skills, e.i. Math, reading, writing, flying. He also taught her a few interesting facts about magical beasts.
Laney grew up in the Wizardry world, drinking Butterbeer, flying around on her toy brookstick. She was the best thing that happened to her father. She gets spoiled with love, Sugar Quills, and creatures. She is a fan of the Puddlemere United (A Quidditch team) and loves playing Quidditch with her friends. She usually plays behind her house where she owns a lot of land. Her father has bought her, her own set of Quidditch balls, and a broom.
Her house and her room is covered with different creatures and beasts. Some leagal...some not. She has a shelf full of information about all types of creatures, and is rather found of Dragons and Gnomes.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Laney is very friendly, and charming. She is very outdoorsy,and is nearly always looking for new creatures she hasn't seen of before. She can be quite the nerd when it comes to animals. She is quite loud sometimes, and gets very excited or amused easily. She is quite an athlete and can be seen jogging time to time, or swimming. She would like to try out for Quidditch, as she had much practice being a Chaser, playing with her friends back at home. Laney would much rather be outside than in, and feels best outside.
Laney will most likely exceed in Transfiguration, and eventually Care for Magical Creatures.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Laney can be very stubborn at times, and can be very dramatic. She is a bit over emotional as well. She has a knack of getting into trouble. She isn't very confident about her appearance, and is very sensitive of her height. She also does get in trouble for being loud a lot. She has a unhealthy obsession with Sugar Quills, and is always carrying a few around in her bag.
She likes being entertained, and having hands on work (such as a wand), so History of Magic wouldn't be her strongest subject.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Laney is friendly, and will stick up to her friends, so I think Gryffndor would suit her well.
