First and Last Name: Lucia Hezel White

Bloodline: Pure-blood
Hair Color: Auburn
Eye Color: Hazel
General Build: Average
Height: Average

Birthplace: Alness, Scotland
Brief Childhood History:
Lucia was the only child of Ministry of Magic worker Diana Lords and writer Vincent White. She was given the middle name Hezel after her father’s brother who had died very young.
Though born in a small town called Alness, Lucia never really got to know the place too much as her parents divorced when she was only 5 years old. Mother took the girl and moved to Kildermorie Lodge where soon enough a rich man named Christopher Warreor joined them. Later when Lucia started insisting on meeting her real father she always got the same answer: “Your father is too busy writing his nonsensical novels, my dear, please try to show more respect to Chris”. Of course Lucia never longed to communicate with Christopher as she did with her father. In fact, Diana Lords could not prevent her daughter from finally finding out father’s address and writing to him. Vincent seemed as Lucia had remembered him: kind and very well spoken. They kept sending letters to each other but never actually met, because Lucia’s mother had done everything to stop that from happening.
However, Lucia’s ambition to meet her father wasn’t the only thing that seemed important to her. Lucia spent much time in the forest although her mother did not like the idea of her 8 year old daughter walking there alone. Girl was very attracted to the trees and various creatures hiding in their shadows. She especially liked lizards and snakes. Though Lucia was no Parseltongue she still seemed to ''understand'' snakes but that was no special ability really. The girl simply showed huge respect to the Nature and did not feel superior, that is why she never really got hurt or bitten by snakes or other animals - she did not interfere in their lives. Lucia just watched her ''little friends'' and soon started being able to tell apart various snakes and even their moods.
Diana Lords did not know about her daughter’s secret passion for the Dark Arts either. She did not have a slightest idea that it was her husband, Chris, who told Lucia everything about the Unforgivable Curses, of course intending to frighten the child, not intrigue. Both- mother and Chris- were stunned when one day Lucia attempted to use the Cruciatus Curse on a guest who insulted her. Of course, even if Lucia had a wand she wouldn’t have succeeded as she was too young, but her mother went berserk.
Lucia did not have many friends, though wizard families with young children frequently visited their manor. She found them a bit too snobby, however, managed to enjoy their company anyway. Lucia is generally a friendly girl but does not always let people know her too well and considers herself a weirdo. She also does not like muggles because she finds them utterly boring and unworthy, but this dislike might also have something to do with her genes as her mother has always despised non-magical people.

Strengths (Including Personality and Academic):
Lucia would be very good at Care of Magical Creatures, when she reaches third year of course, because she spent most of her childhood surrounded by them. Her interest in the Dark Arts would also make her good at Defense Against the Dark Arts as not only you need to know dark magic but also to protect yourself from its dangers. Lucia used to take her mother’s books about magic and spells and read them secretly so she should also be rather good at Charms.
Living with her mother that did not care too much about her daughter wondering around alone and a step-father to whom she spoke very rarely has made Lucia very independent. She has strong views about many things and can get quite ruthless when it comes to defending her opinion. Girl has an incredible ability to persuade people even if it needs a bit of acting. Not only Lucia gets everything she wants from her mother, but also can very easily get useful information from other kids and even grown up wizards.

Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic):
Lucia would not be very good at History of Magic, because in her view it is a boring subject. Potions would not be one of her strong points either. Although she would fully understand the importance of knowing how to make various antidotes, her absent-mindedness would not help her follow the instructions.
The girl is an introvert which is not necessarily a bad thing as long as it does not prevent her from feeding her curiosity. She might be a bit nosy sometimes but she would rather keep everything to herself than gossip. But when someone insults her or her opinion Lucia will most likely take her revenge by doing something snaky. Girl is also not very talkative but sometimes can say something inappropriate and out of the blue. This had proven to be not a very good trait as some people got really offended by her straight-forwardness.

What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why:
Lucia would definitely be in Slytherin like her mother, but not only because of a “family tradition”. She is a peaceful girl indeed, but if someone attacks her – she will most definitely attack back even if it comes to a dirty game.

Heya Lucia and welcome to HPRPG~!

However, before we can sort you, there are just a few things that need adjusting and/or editing. Firstly, it's small, but the mention of her understanding snakes (while she's not a parseltongue) is still a bit... curious. Maybe drop mention of it entirely? It feels as if it's bordering on a potential 'special ability' and those need to be applied for after you've been approved. <3

And secondly, could you give us a few more of her personality strengths and weaknesses? Maybe one or two more should do the trick and give us a better understanding of Lucia. :3

Once you've made the above edits just change the title from 'pending' to 'edited' and we'll continue from there.
