Brief Childhood History:Marie was born on May 19th to a wizard father and Muggle mother. Her father works for the Ministry of Magic, in the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts office, wishing desperately for a different job. Marie has been kept inside most of her life, due to her mother’s fear of their secret being discovered. However, when Marie was seven, her parents left for a day trip to the city, leaving their daughter all alone. Looking outside, she saw the neighbor children playing at the park across the street. She went outside to meet them, and was immediately bullied. One particularly cruel girl pushed Marie over, and suddenly found herself hanging upside-down from the highest point of a playtoy, unable to come down without help. The other kids ran away, yelling about crazy people and lunatics.
As Marie grew older, her father told her more and more about Hogwarts, and what a wonderful school it was. When she got her letter of acceptance, she was so excited, she danced around for nearly an hour. Almost the next day, the redhead was introduced to Diagon Alley.
To keep herself occupied on those days that her parents were busy, Marie usually read through her mother's library, or wrote stories. Occasionally, she got the rare treat of seeing a family member.She has no siblings, and sees her cousins as replacements.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Marie can be very trusting, which turns against her sometimes. However, it takes a lot for her to completely put her trust in somebody, and for a person to become her friend. Socially, Marie is extremely shy and rarely speaks out. Even with her shyness, if something is wrong, Marie will try almost anything to fix it and make it right. In her classes, Marie shows potential in Potions the most, correctly whipping up just about any standard, 1st-year potion thrown at her. She also maintains excellent marks in Defense Against the Dark Arts.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): When insults or taunting words are thrown at her, Marie does nothing to stop them. She can be very emotional when the right (or wrong) things are said to her. In addition to this, Marie will often snap at people; this usually happens when she's having a bad day and somebody won't leave her alone, even if they don't know she's having a hard time. Marie struggles when it comes to Herbology and History of Magic, finding them highly boring subjects, and unable to keep herself interested with them.
