Brief Childhood History: Adeline Marshall was born in the month of October on the 31st to a family of 5, becoming the youngest out of 4 kids with 3 older brothers. Her father, Ryan Marshall, works in the Ministry of Magic in the Department of Magical Games and Sports. While in Hogwarts, he was in Ravenclaw. Her Mother, Elizabeth Marshall, works as a nurse at a hospital in her hometown. Her brothers, Matt, Zachary, and Jesse are loving towards their little sister, making sure she was well rounded and humble.
Now, most would call Adeline the ‘milkman’s child’, specifically for the fact that everyone in her immediate family is a brunette except for Addie. Addie was born with blonde hair, like usual, but her hair stayed a golden blonde. Addie is also the shortest in the family, standing at a whopping 5’3, while her older brothers stand at 6’0 and above. However, her smile is just like her Mother’s, a trait that all four children have, proving that the small female is indeed biologically related to her family and not adopted. In fact, her older brothers and her get along quite well comparatively.
While in primary school in the muggle world, Addie was popular and well liked. She was a constant source of positive energy, compliments, smiles and loyalty, something all of her friends valued. She was brave, athletic, and smart, though her tendency to not take things seriously did get her into trouble once in a while. She was extremely good at sports; no matter which sport she tried, she excelled at it. Overall, her time spent in the muggle world was entertaining and untroubled.
Adeline, like her brothers, was a late bloomer when it came to showing any magical ability. She was 10 years old when this occurred, when she conjured a shield charm, without meaning to, in order to block a fastball thrown at her head by one of her older brothers. Her parents were unsurprised, but relieved, when they found the letter in their mail a few months before school started. Another child off to Hogwarts…

Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Adeline always has the ability to see the bright side to most situations, as horrible as they may be, and make the most out of them. This girl never runs out of compliments and is extremely loyal, and is able to make anyone smile. Her ability to raise her friend’s spirits is valued. Adeline is also very flexible, and able to react to most situations calmly and positively. She isn’t scared of most things, which allows her to jump into any situation head first without fear of failure or bodily harm.
Academic-wise, Adeline thrives on stress and is not put down by bad grades. She finds new and interesting ways to learn new things, which comes in handy when she needs to explain things to her friends. Her favorite subjects, and usually her best, are Transfiguration, Charms, and Defense Against the Dark Arts. Adeline also shows a strong interest in flying.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Sometimes, Adeline has issues connecting with people solely on the fact of how upbeat she seems, which some might find annoying, or abuse in order to get what they want. Another problem she has is sometimes she has problems noticing how serious a situation can be. Her inability to take things seriously has gotten her into trouble before.
Classes that usually have her just memorize facts and not actually have to learn how to do something give her problems, because she finds them so boring and cannot concentrate on them. Those subjects include Potions, History of Magic, and Herbology.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: While Adeline is partial towards the House of Ravenclaw, because of her father, her bravery, positive attitude and loyalty would set her on the path towards the House of Gryffindor. There she would find kindred and brave sprits like her own to connect to.
