Brief Childhood History: Melanie was born and grew up in England. Since her parents were muggles, they didn't think that she posessed any magical powers. The family lived in the countryside. Melanie loved magic. Sometimes the Jackels family would go into town. There they might see a magician. Oh how Melanie loved the magic, so after reading some books and watching some movies, her ambition was to be a wizard.

The yard was very very big, so she would often go out there and pretend to cast magical spells on objects. Little did she know, Melanie was a witch! Her parents just thought it was a phase in life and their daughter would soon think of something else to be when she grew up, but that didn't happen.

Melanie's parents had been worried that she might be crazy, but a bit later, a letter from Hogwarts was in the mail for Melanie.

Strengths: Melanie is great with creatures of all kinds. She has a gentle hand and a part of her that loves to learn about them. Care of Magical Creatures would be one of her stronger classes as well as Charms (because learning new spells always comes in handy). She enjoys Astronomy because it fasinates her.

Weaknesses: Melanie's main weaknesses are her fears. They could come up anywhere. The classes Herbology and History of Magic are not strong points at all. Even though she loves learning about magic, she doesn't think that she needs to know about the history of it.

What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: I feel that Melanie belongs in Gryffindor. I feel she would fit into Gryffindor because she is a brave girl. There isn't alot that can make her back down. Melanie wout fit in well there because she is loyal. Even though she enjoys to learn, she has more traits of a Gryffindor. I guess we just have to let the Sorting Hat do his job.

However, before we can sort you, there are a few things that need expanding. First, we're just looking for one word answers for both the general build and height (just chose one of the three adjectives given on the character sheet).

As for her history can you remove the year from her application? We're pretty vague about the year here on HPRPG. :3 Additionally, can you elaborate a bit? We're looking for Melanie's childhood and we really don't get much of it from what you've given us. ^^ Think of what you have right now as a skeleton that needs some meat put on it! What did she do for her, how did she grow up, and things like that.

Same for her strengths and weaknesses-- they're sort of skeleton-y and in need of some meat! We need both academic strengths and weaknesses, too, what classes is she good and bad in? Why? Same with her personality: disliking bugs and murders aren't really weaknesses, they're fears. ^^;
