« on: 02 Jun 2011, 03:02 pm »
First and Last Name: Juliet Amadeus

Bloodline: A pure-blood.
Hair Color: Juliet's hair is a beautiful blonde. It is sun-kissed and slightly pale.
Eye Color: A brilliant, vivid blue.
General Build: Petite.
Height: Short.

Birthplace: The UK.
Brief Childhood History:
Juliet was born  in a hospital in London, although she was raised in the countryside. She actually spent a lot of her early childhood traveling, and as a result it is now one of her passions. She has an older brother, one with a distinctly Hebrew name unlike that of her and her sister's names with their origins in the romance languages- Spanish, French, Italian, and Latin. His name is Samuel, for her grandfather, while she is named for no one. Her younger sister's name is Belle.

Juliet, although she traveled a lot, was ultimately RAISED in the Amadeus family mansion, which is in England, in the country side. It is a nice, rather large red-brick manor, comfortable but grand.

Juliet spent most of her time when she was young playing Quidditch with Sam or styling dolls in robes with Belle. In other words, playing with her siblings. She occasionally got into mischief but only as a result of her curious nature. In general, she was an avid reader.

She knew that she was a witch from a very early age, but her parents trusted her enough to send her to a Muggle school when she was younger and she knows a lot about Muggle habits now, but doesn't find Muggle studies particularly interesting.

Another one of her hobbies was actually to play with toy wands- meaning that they only preformed certain spells on certain objects- and also to play with toy potions kits. She always wanted to learn, and never got enough of it. Her father often took them for rides in the countryside but always took them as an opportunity to teach her and her siblings. Another favorite family pastime was to read riddles and attempt to solve them. The first person to would get a treat. When Sam left for Hogwarts before Juliet, Juliet was very upset and since then had longed to attend the school.

Strengths (Including Personality and Academic):
Juliet has sharp eyes and a wonderful memory, so she remembers things very easily. She is also logical, practical, and hardworking. In general, she has a wonderful intellect. Her personal greatnesses lie in Arithmancy, Astronomy, Ancient Runes, Potions, DADA, Transfiguration, Charms, HoM... anything that requires logic or a great memory.

Her humor and wit are mostly what attract people to her. Also her energy, since she never seems to run out of it. She is outgoing in some cases, but once she has a group of friends, she tends to stick with it.

Juliet is also a leader, which can be good or bad. She follows the rules.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic):
However, Juliet is quite bad at Herbology. Although she picks up on things quite easily in other classes, she never enjoyed Herbology. and doesn't see the differences between plants or understand how to deal with them. Divination is also not a strong point as she cannot See, and last but not least she is an absolute dunce at Care of Magical Creatures. Being afraid of animals can often hinder one's growth in that subject.

Although she is a leader, she is bossy, and is often viewed as a goody two-shoes or a suck-up. Occasionally Juliet also can be a gossip, earning her a few enemies. She is also occasionally viewed as a wimp since she is afraid of dogs and owls, as well as mice... some of the animals they work with. Since she is afraid of the moving plants, that is also a reason why is awful at Herbology.

What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why:
I believe her drive in academics and her strong intellect would make her a natural pick for Ravenclaw.

As well as there being many reasons for her to be in Ravenclaw, I believe there are just as many reasons why she shouldn't be in the other houses. For one, Slytherin is closed; she is unable to join that house. Furthermore, I think her fears and fairly apparent lack of bravery (although she is not afraid of bugs, that's one good thing) wouldn't make her a prime pick for Gryffindor. She is too bossy, pushy, and driven to be in Hufflepuff. Naturally, she is fit for Ravenclaw.

She has wit, loves to read, and was born AND raised an intellectual. She has a wonderful mind that would make her superb for Ravenclaw.
