Brief Childhood History:
Glass's parents were both magic users; her parents are both half-bloods. She had two older brothers, and one younger sister. She grew up in a quaint countryside, her dark hair instantly noticeable in her family of flaxen hair. Glass's complexion was always very pale at best, and never seemed to tan no matter how long she stayed outside in the meadows. Her mother often joked about it, calling her their family's black sheep. However, she was also the most beautiful in her family, with striking looks and eyes that seemed to see right through people.
Her magic presented itself to her when she was around four years old; she succeeded in causing a patch of wildflowers to wither after she had thrown a tantrum. After this episode, she was once again succumbed by tears when she had realized what she had done, and made flowers spring up from the dead patch. Her father found this infinitely amusing, but tried to hide his chuckles.
In her childhood, she often played with toy brooms, skimming along the countryside, well away from the village of course. After the age of nine, she could often out-fly even her eldest brothers, much to their despair.
She never went to a Muggle school, her magic presenting itself so early on in her life. However, there were quite a few Wizarding families in the village, and she often socialized and interacted with them. She struck up no friendships; tolerating the others at best.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic):
Glass is very perceptive and has extremely sharp eyes, noticing many tiny details most people would miss. This coupled with a natural tendency towards blending or silence make her an extremely adept spy, or perhaps a very intelligent student. She can also 'read' people very well; one would do best not to lie while in her presence.
Her Academic success lies in Transfiguration and Defense Against the Dark Arts. She is also inclined toward History of Magic, her extreme concentration put to the test.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic):
She has a 'superiority complex', in that she believes a job can't be done correctly unless she herself or somebody she trusts completes it. She isolates herself from potential friends, and tends to bottle her feelings up. She also lacks motivation to do well in some areas, like Charms.
Glass is quite the dunce at Charms, not having the attitude to make candlesticks turn cartwheels. She also is below average in Astronomy.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why:
I think Glass would belong in Ravenclaw, due to her academic inclinations and sharp eyes and wit. Her natural tendencies to fade into the background and simply concentrate on studying/learning make her ideal for Ravenclaw. She is reserved, very intelligent, and quiet.
