First and Last Name: Winifred Pritchard

Bloodline: Pureblood.
Hair Color: Straight brown hair
Eye Color: Green
General Build: Average; what would be normal for a slightly hyperactive eleven year old.
Height: average height.

Birthplace: Blackheath, London

Brief Family History: Winifred was the fifthborn child to Damian  and Marion Pritchard, not only the younger child but also the only girl after four extremely hyperactive boys.

All in all, her childhood was pretty normal. Doted upon by her mother, who had wanted a daughter for long, she enjoyed a position of being the center of attention. She was always looked after by her older siblings, with whom she spent the majority of time, since they lived a neighbourhood populated mostly by muggles, and her parents did not want to risk any display of involuntary magic by any of their children; especially since Damian was on quite a prominent career path in the Ministry. They didn’t want any incidents.

When she was younger, she usually played with her brothers, in their spacious home in Blackheath, London. Since she usually played with boys; Winnie was used to playing quidditch and different sort of ‘boy’ games, enjoying the attention she got when she succeeded at them; of course, this contradicted with the fact that her mother loved dressing her up in frilly outfits; which gave her a different sort of attention, which she also ate up. After all, watching her mother’s friends go all ‘ooh’ and ‘aah’ about just how darling she was, was definitely an ego booster.

What she didn’t know then, was that her siblings, boys who are now aged 13, 16, 18 and 21 usually let the younger girl win; mainly because they liked to spoil their little sister and because they thought it was absolutely hilarious to watch her try to do what they were doing. Or, on the rare occasion, when they had all been misbehaving and she busted them, they simply let her win because they didn’t want her to tell that they were all doing something they shouldn’t have.

The result of these interactions was that Winnie was far too used to the spotlight; which only made more difficult for her when her brothers got their letters and began going off to Hogwarts. It wasn’t just because their leaving left her without her playmates, but because it began to overshadow her small accomplishments. (Somehow, pulling off a cartwheel wasn’t as impressive as getting an O in Potions). This pushed the little girl to began studying whatever she could, because she liked the attention her siblings got whenever they visited home; and she was determined to prove she was just as special as her brothers  and even more.

Strengths:  Winifred is very, very determined. The moment she sets herself a goal, she will see it through, no matter what the costs might be. But  what could be considered as her biggest strength is that Winnie is rarely stunned into speechlessness. She’s used to being surrounded with people who are older than she is, so she doesn’t get dazzled easily by the figure of ‘older students’. She is also very outgoing, and she loves talking to people and socializing. And years dealing with older siblings, especially when they were prone to causing small disasters... they proved she could talk her way out of most situations. She is cunning and somewhat creative, using friendship to get her way, one way or the other.

Academically; she is good at subjects that deal more without wands, mainly because she could study and prepare herself, but being deft with a wand is something that has absolutely nothing to do with books, therefore it scares her a little.

Weaknesses: as of now, her biggest weakness in academic matters is wand waving subjects; such as charms, transfigurations and the like. Also, her biggest strength is also her biggest weakness; Winifred is definitely used to getting her way, and the interactions she had prior to arriving to Hogwarts were rather partial to her. She will not cope well with people not praising her immediately which might make her prone to tantrums and rather vicious behaviour. She has been known to simply walk away from people once they start talking about things she doesn’t particularly care to hear and she can have a mean streak the size of an ocean.

What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: I think that Winifred is a Slytherin because she is determined and cunning and most certainly ambitious; she  is not afraid of choosing rather unorthodox ways to deal with things.
