Brief Childhood History:
Born to a Muggle mother and a Pure-blood father, Olivia has always been comfortable about the magical world around her. Her father, fearful that she may end up as a Squib, told her everything she needed to know at a very young age - meaning that when her magical abilities started to make small appearances, Olivia was barely unnerved.
Olivia preferred to keep a distance from her classmates - many of them tending to think that she has this huge secret as she always liked to smile mysteriously when the topic of where she would like to go for high school pops up. This lead up to Olivia being slightly unpopular in her grade - however, she didn't mind at all as she knew that she would be able to leave in a few years.
When her letter of acceptance to Hogwarts showed up at her doorstep, Olivia was extremely calm while her father decided to throw a huge party for her - inviting all their magic friends to it. With her robes already fit, her wand already chosen and her books and such already bought, Olivia cannot possibly wait any longer to finally leave on that day for Hogwarts...
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic):
Quick-thinking and cunning, Olivia can easily throw back a comeback to anyone challenging her. She likes to have at least one other person with her wherever she goes - just for the sake of having a crowd. However, when doing something relaxing, like homework or reading a book, she likes to have some peace and quiet.
Her favorite subjects include Charms, Transfiguration and Herbology - excelling in all three. Her wand, specially built to exceed slightly with light magic, help her with these. As these are her three favorite classes she focuses most on them - tending to get higher grades for these ones. She also has a bit of a knack for Mathematics - however this isn't relevant to her study for a few years.
Being very fit after having an active childhood, Olivia is speedy and fast. She absolutely loves the Flying Classes she attends in her first year - although she hasn't tried out for the Quidditch team out of nervousness. However, as she gets older and bigger, she is sure to try out.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic):
Tending to occasionally back-talk her Professors, Olivia really doesn't know how to keep her mouth shut. If there is one thing she hates it's ever being required to learn something that she insists she'll have no use of in the real world.
She can talk to you for 20 minutes just explaining the reasons with Astronomy and History of Magic should NOT be taught at Hogwarts. Firstly, why do we need to spend hours staring at the stars? If she wanted to know her future she'd go to Divinations! And then History of Magic? Why do we even have to be taught something that everybody hates? It should be optional - who cares about the acts of the first wizard Minister? We're living in the present!
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why:
As a "cunning and calculating" young Witch, Olivia definitely belongs in Slytherin. Although she is a half-blood, her father and mother both agree that she should keep this little detail a secret. Instead of telling people she's a pure-blood she chooses just to ignore anyone asking - with a snort, of course. Although, if she is not put into Slytherin, she wouldn't mind being placed into Ravenclaw, or even Gryffindor if she must. She decides not to even think about being in Hufflepuff, though.
