Brief Childhood History: Matthew has one fraternal-twin sister, her name is Alice Ashdown and their parents are Isabel Pearce and Jeffrey Ashdown.
Matthew was born in the small village of Filey in the United Kingdom, he's 5 minutes younger than his sister Alice. He loves his family, however, he's always pranking everyone and getting himself into crazy situations... If anyone asks how Matthew is they will always tell you that Matthew is a fun and happy kid, sometimes too much energetic for his own good.
At the public school Matthew was always above-average but that can be explained by the fact that he passed more time on the beach with his friends, they like call themselves a pact of wolves, trying to learn how to surf and pranking other people than actually studying and doing homework, that sort of tasks he usually did them on the way to the school inside the school bus, so he never really studied for a exam.
Matthew first magical experience was exactly when he was hanging up in a tree branch near his house with a slingshot trying to hit his sister's favorite dolls with sunflower seeds and as he loses his balance and fell on the ground he felt a enormous amount of pain on his right kneecap and looked at it and almost chocked as he saw a huge wound bleeding heavily, as a reaction of the pain and trying to stop the bleeding he pressed both of his hands against the wound for a short amount of time and as he did that he felt the pain getting lighter and lighter and as he took out his hands from the kneecap he saw that the wound got smaller and the bleeding was almost gone, Matthew doesn't understand how that happen but that was his first (and only) contact with magic.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Matthew cares about the people around him, if he sees that they need his help, because if not he will just prank them, he's also adventurous which most of the times just leads him straight into trouble. Matthew is also a smart kid, however, not a brilliant one, he tries to be fair (as fair as a 11/12 year old can be) and never blame no-one for his own mistakes and faults, however he will try to found a way out of the situation. Probably his best classes are going to be Charms and Transfiguration.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Matthew is a lazy kid, he will always prefer the easiest route to solve a situation if possible, for example, he will mostly try to cheat on a exam than study all night for it, he sometimes can be pretty immature (which is normal for a 11/12 year old) and a proof of that is his constant attempts to prank people. His worst classes are going to be those that are more theoretical than practical, for example, History of magic and Potions since he has troubles following step-by-step instructions as he always looks for the easiest route for things and he's the sort of kid that can think that jumping one or two steps on the preparation of a potion is a good idea.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Gryffindor. Because as stated before he's a prankster, which takes both courage to do it and bold because he gets himself in "huge" adventures to prank someone. Also, one of those can also be seen by the fact that a 11/12 year old trying to learn how to surf. He's also chivalrous, as a proof of that is the fact that he tries not to lie and when caught he will not blame someone else because he thinks that it's a attitude that it isn't correct towards the others.
