Lottie Harper - Approved [H]
« on: 06 May 2011, 12:41 pm »
First and Last Name: Lottie Harper
Bloodline: Halfblood
Hair Color: light brown
Eye Color: hazel
General Build: average
Height: short
Birthplace: Norwich, but she moved from there when she was only one, and they now live in a place called Tamworth
Brief Childhood History: She went to an average muggle primary school, where she had  several friends and was fairly average in terms of muggle lessons, until year four, at which point her mother realised how much she hated school and agreed to homeschool her for the remaining two years. She is an only child and her family is happy, although her dad , the muggle parent, travelled often. She has no tragic history and only knows one person who has died (her grandfather) so she is not used to losing family members. When she was being homeschooled, the only muggle work she did was learning to read and write, but other than that she did things such as painting and baking at home. although she spent quite alot of time painting and drawing, her art skills are pretty average. her life before Hogwarts was pretty average and uninteresting.
Strengths: Lottie is good at making friends (although she is too happy-go-lucky for some). She is also willing to help people if the need her help.she is going to enjoy, and be good (well, better than she is in her other classes) at Charms because she would like being able to learn specific words and wand movements. She loves to read and spends alot of time doing so, which is why she prefers subjects she can learn with a textbook.
Weaknesses: She can get frustrated at people if they arent doing the work, and she is fairly shy when she is with people she doesn't know(although with friends she is quite talkative). She isn't going to be very good at DADA, as she is a bit too scared to try and attack anyone. She can, however, get bored very easily and has a tendency to phase out in lessons which she finds dull.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: I think she probably belongs in Hufflepuff, as she is not very clever or brave and is too scared to be mean. She is quite kind and is loyal to friends and would stand up for them even if she thought they were wrong.I think that she would be well suited to Hufflepuff.

Heya Lottie and welcome to HPRPG~!

However, before we can sort you, there are a few things that need edited. ^^ Firstly, can you bold the categories to make it a bit easier to read? (Example | First and Last Name: Lottie Harper). And second, maybe give us a few more strengths and weaknesses outside of interacting with people? <3

Once you've made the changes above just change the title from 'pending' to 'edited' and we'll continue from there.

i made them bold but i don't quite understand what you mean about more strengths and weaknesses outside interacting with people... should i add another school subject to her weaknesses or something?

Well, currently all of her personality strengths are derived from how she interacts with people: good at making friends, willing to help people, frustrated with people who don't work, and shy around people she doesn't know. Those aren't bad at all, mind, but they are all social-oriented. ^^ Does she have any other strengths/weaknesses that aren't? Just some examples: She's an avid reader, she's good at memorizing names, she has trouble making decisions, and so on. You're welcome to check some other applications out for more examples.

Make sure you change the title to 'edited' once you've done so. ;)
