Brief Childhood History: Kayla grew up in a Pure-blooded family with two brothers and a sister in Hastings, East Sussex. Kayla was generally in awe of her older brothers, River and Rylan, seeing as they were at Hogwarts long before she even showed her abilities, and was fascinated by their stories and how they described the spells. She helped them prank several of their friends and her younger sister, Mia, seeing as they all believed Kayla to be a innocent toddler. Strange things happened to Kayla in childhood, well, strange to her. When her brothers tried to force her to make an Unbreakable Vow, instead of them going through with it, they ended up with a tub a cold gravy on their head. When she was a little older, whenever she lost her temper, the closest window or object made of glass, exploded. These were just a few of many. It didn't take long for her parents to notice that she definitely had magical abilities.
Kayla spent most of her time following her brothers around. She was home-schooled, so she didn't make any Muggle friends. Kayla often found this isolation annoying, seeing as she was a person who enjoyed company. When her brothers weren't around, she would spend her time exploring the surrounding grounds, or as her mother would say, 'searching for trouble'. She pretty much got on with her family, even though her younger sister often grudged her on her latest prank.
The day the letter from Hogwarts came, it wasn't particularly a big deal. Yes, her family was excited along with her, but it had been expected seeing her heritage. Still, seeing as her brothers had beat her by six years, it wasn't as exciting. Her belongings were half and half- some were second hand from her brothers who were in their sixth year at the time, and some were new from Diagon Alley. She looks forward to her sister joining Hogwarts in two years.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic):Kayla is generally a friendly girl who can talk to anyone. She is a sucker for pranks, and often pulls small and large ones of friends and enemies alike. She's brave, and loves to explore and have fun. She is not afraid to stand up for herself and others. In the academic section, Kayla excels in Defence Against the Dark Arts and Care of Magical Creatures,seeing as these are the most hands on lessons, due to the fact she loves getting dirty.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Kayla can lose her temper quickly, often leading to people to fear her a little. She is also impulsive, and sometimes has disregard for the rules. In her pranks, she will sometimes take thing a little too far, and doesn't know where to put her foot down. In the academic section, Kayla finds Potions impossible. She can't seem to get any potion recipe right, and her temper often gets in the way due to this. She isn't exactly a patient person, and she thinks Potions takes too much time.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: I think Kayla would be in Gryffindor, She's brave at heart, and she is quick to stand up for what she believes in. She is loyal to her beliefs and her friends, and loves adventure. She's determined to do her best in everything, and never gives up.
