Brief Childhood History:
Zane Clark is an only child born in Manchester to a witch mother and a muggle father making him a half blood. Zane as a child was curious and loved figuring out puzzles and problems. Anything he couldn’t figure out he dubbed as not worth his time. His parents being a bit overprotective decided it was best not to tell him about his magic until he was older.
He attended a Muggle school during his childhood and got along well with others. He was very helpful and when others were in trouble he’d always try to help. He wasn’t very athletic preferring to stay inside and read instead of playing outside. He loved figuring out puzzles and seeing the looks on people’s faces when he solved difficult ones.
However one summer when Zane was nine his cousin came by for a visit. While playing Zane ended up getting into a fight with him. With Zane’s emotions running wild before he knew he accidently made his cousin float into the air. Zane was amazed at what was happening and called to his parents. His mother saw the situation and quickly brought his cousin back to the ground. Confused he tried explaining what had happened to his parents, and they brought him inside and told him all about the magical world.
Zane wasn’t sure how to take the news at first and even thought it was all a trick being played on him. The more he thought about it, the only reasonable explanation was magic. From this point Zane became excited at the thought of a magical world. He wanted to learn more about it, and asked his mother for any books she had on magic. She provided them to him and he tore through page after page wanting to learn all he could about this strange thing called magic. Until his 11th birthday came he studied as much about magic as he could on his own. When the letter for Hogwarts came, he packed his bags, said goodbye to his parents, and left for a new life.

Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Zane is very inquisitive and because of his puzzle solving he’s learned to approach a problem from different angles and find it easier to solve. He’s also patient because he realizes it takes time to solve problems. He’d excel in Transfiguration and Charms because he feels he can apply these classes to his life.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Zane is stubborn and his drive to understand can sometimes lead him to neglecting those around him. He’d do poorly in Potions and Herbology because he feels these classes wouldn’t help him in life.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why:
I feel Zane should be placed in Ravenclaw because he is an intellectual and for his need to understand everything. He’s also clever and skilled in figuring out problems.
