Brief Childhood History: Being pureblood in the wizarding world was probably the most important thing in Annelise's life, and her parents. It always affected her childhood. She was always taught to dislike Muggles. To know they she was better than them. Although deep down, she really had no problem with them. They were just, there. Living near and around her. Really not bother her, she made an effort to dislike them anyway. Just to please her parents.
Although growing up in an environment with parents who loved her, and having quite a wealth, Annelisa always knew that her parents thought she was a little different. But accepted her anyway. Also knowing that if she told them she didn't dislike Muggles, they would probably see her as a disappointment. Because Annie was the old daughter of the House of Taylor, her parents intended for her to be married into a higher Pureblood family. Which they are forever trying to succeed in.
Annie didn't like the idea that her parents would be choosing her husband. The man she felt she was supposed to find her 'knight in shining armor' or 'prince charming' like in the fairy tales. But she didn't want to look like a disappointment. So she never opened her mouth about the whole thing. And instead hoped that she would one day fall in love, or learn to fall in love with with a boy from a higher blood family then her own, to please her parents.
Always knowing that she had magical talent, even from a young age, she would continuously pester her parents and grandparents for stories on Hogwarts. The school she would be attending. The school itself wasn't the thing that fascinated her. More the work and magic that went into it. Her particular favorite interest was the moving staircase that Rowena Ravenclaw designed.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Annie is a very self confident person. Often always than not making herself know, and the center of attention. For she loves that too. And even though she is quite self-centered and vain, there is a part in her, that sometimes surfaces that is as kind as her Hufflepuff heritage on her mothers side. Another strength she possesses is her memory. She has an astounding memory. And although not quite 'photographic' it is pretty near. Her academic strengths are quite varied, but her main interest is History of Magic. Where is quite talented. She is also rather naturally gifted with Charms and Potions.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Vanity. The supposed 'worst sin' is probably Annelise's main weakness. She tends to think herself better then her peers. Often leading to some form of trouble when she tells them this. Another of her bad traits includes her opinions. If she thinks she's right, she will fight for it. Even if half way through the argument, she finds out she is wrong. Within school, she tends to be quite untalented in Transfiguration, which she finds frustrating, as the subject interests her. Annelise is also quite bad at Defense Against the Dark Arts and Flying.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: I feel Annie, quite obviously, belongs in Slytherin. She is quite ambitious, stubborn, vain and slightly cunning. If she were not to be placed in Slytherin, she would find herself in Ravenclaw.
