Topic: Tech Update: Chat Issues

Our loverly chatroom, as you may have noticed, is not working properly in Firefox and Chrome if you (or your computer) have recently updated your Adobe Flash Player to version 10.1.  There was a bugfix which the chat-programmer released, but it's not quite stable yet (as we figured out this afternoon.)

At the moment, the chat is back up and in in 'working' order (aka we're still having problems, but you can still chat without those causing issues in terms of your messages being received and displayed.) As soon as there's a new fix out, we'll try to fix it again.

The HPRPG Chat will be down starting Monday morning at 2:00pm British Summer Time (9:00am Eastern Daylight Time) until further notice as I attempt to fix the aforementioned bugginess.

Hopefully it'll be a quick fix and we'll be back up and running within an hour, but it is entirely possible that the chat will be down until Friday, July 23rd.

Please take this time to be happy and free and frolic around the forum posting and being productive. (You know which of you I'm speaking to, you slackers!!)

Status-notes should be displaying for everyone now. Less than symbols (<) will still disappear because of html/flash crossover issues, so if you'd like to make sure your 'less than's are showing up for everyone, please type in '&lt;' instead of '<'.
