Brief Family History: Rex was born in a Wizarding village outside of London into a family of Auoras, rather exceptional ones to be exact. His mother and Father being some of the greatest of their time. He's currently the youngest of 3 brothers all of whom have already passed through Hogwarts and were several years into their careers, Auoras of course. His childhood is plagued with memories of the duels forced upon him by his older brothers each year after they returned from Hogwarts; he was forced at a very young age to learn how to defend himself without a wand, and b/c of that has become rather talented with using his surroundings to defend himself with. There was even an occasion, when he was 8, that he produced a successful stunning spell using a twig that was hurled at him by his siblings. He didn't doubt the fact that he was knack for magic, but he hated the fact that his future seemed planned out for him, his career had been decided for him before conception. The only family member he can stand to be around for more than a half hour was his cousin of the same age, Mark, that was attending Beauxbatons this year. His parents where just as overbearing as his own, and insisted upon him taking up a job in the Ministry, as everyone in his immediate family had done. Though they were separated by several hundreds of miles, they kept in continuous contact through the owl post; it was the only way for either of them to remain sane during summers where their parents payed increasing amounts of attention to them. So you could say Rex hails from a family of tradition, but Rex feels it's time to break that trend, he is the master of his own destiny, and not a soul in the the world can tell him otherwise.

Strengths: Rex is a very strong-willed person, put lightly he wants what he wants, and will work his hardest to acquire it. However, Rex's greatest traits are his tendency to protect those close to him at all costs and his extreme loyalty to those he's become taken to.. Due to his extensive mandatory home schooling he subjected to before arriving at Hogwarts, Rex already has quite a solid grasp on first year spells and and knowledge, and is halfway into second year information. But to be specific, Rex's strong points are definitely Defense against the Dark Arts, and Transfiguration.
Weaknesses: He has a tendency to loose all sense reason if angered, which to be honest isn't too often due to his mellow demeanor. In addition to that, Rex has been known to take a gamble or two, on what others may deem impossibly slight chances. His school specific weaknesses include any and all history courses, the farthest he's managed to remain attentive in this subject at home is dwarfed in comparison to the attention span of a toddler.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why:Rex never really had a house preference, sure Gryffindore is the most sought after house due to the reputation of those that graduate from it, sure he was loyal and competitive, he was extremely protective of his loved ones and would go to the ends of the Earth to keep them from harm, but Ravenclaw wasn't so bad as well, they were noted for their quick minds, and sharp tongues, qualities, that Rex envisioned within himself.
