Brief Family History: Nicky is the youngest of four boys born to Ambrose and Celene Andreou, both of Greek decent. They were both born and raised in the UK, however. Nicky’s brothers, in order from oldest to youngest are Alec, Luke, and Gregory. The family is planning to have one more child, in the hopes of actually having a girl this time. Celene is a school teacher, and Ambrose captains the ferry to Ireland from Fishguard. None of the other boys ever displayed any signs of being ‘different,’ so it was quite a shock when they learned that Nicky was a wizard. In fact, they were quite skeptical on the idea, and almost wouldn’t allow their son to attend Hogwarts. It took finding out that Celene’s great grandmother was actually a witch, a fact that had been kept quiet until the Ministry official brought it up. Celene phoned her mother and asked about it, to which she got a reluctant answer of ‘yes.’ Nicky is heading to Hogwarts with no clue about magic, but he’s very eager and excited to learn.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Nicky is adventurous and easy going, and makes friends very easily. He’ll strike up a conversation with just about anyone and will always try to break the ice by cracking a joke or acting goofy. He doesn’t take himself, or anything else for that matter, very seriously. He’s also a romantic, even at his young age. He falls in ‘love’ with just about every girl he meets. Naturally, he has no clue, but it’s cute none the less, and often gets the girls giggling. In his muggle school, Nicky was gifted in maths and sciences, and he will likely be good in Potions for that reason. He’s not very academically inclined, however, since he prefers to go outside and play, and tease the pretty girls. He’s relatively athletic and loves to play football (soccer).
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Nicky gets his feelings hurt easily. He wants to get along with everyone, and feels hurt if people don’t accept him. He’s the ‘class clown,’ which will often get him into trouble with Professors and other superiors, as well as his peers if he takes it too far. He has no clue what to do with a wand, so he’ll likely struggle through some of his classes. Nicky is extremely naïve, and sometimes to eager to dive head first into things that he has no clue about.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: I think Nicky would do well in Gryffindor. He’s adventurous and stands up for himself and those he considers friends. He’s endured the constant teasing of 4 older brothers, so he’s pretty sure he can take on the world.
