Brief Family History: Ekovia and her identical twin Lymekia were born to a muggle mother, Cynthia Herst, and a wizard father, Leland Herst. The two twins grew up in a large flamboyant estate in Cambridge, away from their extended family in Paris.
At the age of 19, their mother Cynthia, who grew up in France, ran off with a foreigner from England, Leland Herst. Young and rebellious, Cynthia dismissed the concerns of her family and agreed to marry the man when he proposed to her with a beautiful diamond ring. His wealth and glamorous lifestyle intrigued her because she had grown up barely making it financially. He wanted to give her the world, everything she ever dreamed of, and Cynthia was convinced she had found her fairytale prince who had come to save her from her distress. They were married at a beautiful cathedral, Cynthia’s family did not attend the extravagant wedding.
The twins were raised in a materialistic household. Bombarded with pretty dresses and attention, Ekovia was truly convinced she was a princess. The young girl would often play “castle” with her twin sister, she would be the beautiful princess, and Lymekia would be the powerful, fearless knight. Both sisters share a love for creativity and imagination. Despite their many differences, the twins generally get along very well. Ekovia is more like her father in that she is more about style, while Lymekia is more like her mother in that she values having fun higher than anything else. Both twins are very adventurous and have attitudes, while growing up they formed a tight bond.
When she grew older, Ekovia learned that she wasn't a princess, she was a witch. When she had finally received her Hogwarts letter, her father sat her and her twin down and told them who they really were. At first she worried she would grow warts and her skin would turn green, but after her father was done explaining the reality of it, Ekovia was content. She could do magic. Real magic, like the fairy princesses!
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Ekovia has a strong thirst for knowledge. She is very skilled with wandwork and practices at every given chance. Charms is her favorite subject and one which she excels at. Ekovia is very social. She is generally very empathetic towards others, as long as they don't get on her bad side. She is very loyal to her friends and family and will protect them at all costs. Ekovia is bilingual, she grew up learning English, followed closely by French. She has traces of a French accent, but they aren't very strong. Although she doesn't like to read, she does enjoy learning and new experiences. Being the daughter of a beautiful debutante, Ekovia has self-confidence and trust in herself and is generally content with her appearance… unless she gets a zit. The gorgeous young girl has fallen victim to vanity and cares more about beauty than she should, although she believes it to be her biggest asset.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Ekovia suffers from a lack of interest in subjects that don't include using a wand. Her ability to catch concepts quickly doesn't aid her much in subjects that don't include wandwork because of her raw lack of interest and effort in them. Ekovia can be fairly irritable and impatient. She is used to getting things her way and when she doesn't, she gets angry and it generally spreads to the people around her like a plague. If someone picks a fight with her, she doesn't let it go. She isn't very forgiving and doesn't like being rejected or casually dismissed. In addition to this, she is often prejudice against plain looking or overweight students, which destroys the possibility of a few more friendly relationships, along with this, she has a love for gossiping.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Ekovia belongs in Ravenclaw. Although her personality could also be considered that of a Slytherin’s, her wit and curiosity outweigh her rather abrasive side.
