Full Name: Roslyn Annabelle Hayes (Nicknames include: Lyn, Rose & Bells)
Physical Description: She stands around 5’1’’ and is neither skinny nor fat but has a fair amount of muscle but in no means bulky an impressive amount for an 11 year old girl at any rate. She comes from Scottish/Irish descent. Her face is heart shaped and she has the tendency to scrunch up her button nose quite a lot. She has bright green eyes with pearly white teeth covered by a full mouth. Her straight brown hair cascades down to her lower back and is usually held in a plait, although she likes her hair loose on various occasions.
Bloodline: Pure-blood
Background: Roslyn is half Scot from her dad’s side and half Irish from her mom’s. They currently live in the Hayes estate near the south side of Edinburgh, Scotland. Roslyn has two older brothers, Oliver and Alexander, who are 9 and 8 years older than her respectively. Roslyn’s dad, Lucas Hayes, works as a curse breaker at the Ministry and Chloe Hayes who is unable (due to her inability to do nothing, a trait she passed down to her offspring) to stay at home whilst her kids are away runs a bookstore down in Diagon Alley. Roslyn has and extremely caring family. Even though she fights with her ‘immature’ brothers quite frequently they are fiercely overprotective and mindful of their little sister. Her childhood was spent at their estate with fun and games and playing pranks with the younger members of her family, learning to fly and play Quidditch with her dad and idiotic brothers and helping her mom make breakfast and bake cookies.
Strengths: Roslyn is very intelligent and high-spirited. She goes into things with great enthusiasm as is her personality, enthusiastic. She enjoys (weirdly) high-stress situations and is brazenly brave. She’s friendly and compassionate. She’s very strong emotionally and she would rather break a limb in a fit than cry. Due to her introspective personality she’s a very good advice giver and loves to listen. She could care less about what other people think is loyal and marches to the beat of her own drum.
Weaknesses: Some find it difficult to handle her hyper and very opinionated nature, and she has a tendency to overcompensate and they often mistake her enthusiasm so she comes of as a teachers pet, and again because of her enthusiasm she has a tendency to do things without thinking bout them straight through; highly impulsive and brash basically. She is passive-aggressive in temperament. There are absolutely no signs of danger, unless you count the barely perceptible twitch close to her right eye, before she blows up. Because she is always thinking about something, she is slightly spacey and doesn’t seem to quite pay attention to her surroundings. Despite the fact that she listens to others opinions and respects them for the most part she is indescribably stubborn as well as prideful and it takes her a great effort to ever say she’s ‘sorry’. Some might question her bravery as utterly suicidal.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Even though she is very smart her rather enthusiastic personality would clash with most calm and easy going Ravenclaws. She would do very well in Hufflepuff house but eventually the lack of thrilling and usually risky adventure her persona craves would not be satisfied. Her only Slytherin tendencies include: Pureblood status and pride? All in all she is a true Gryffindor at heart. Strong-willed, loyal and brave. Her soul roars like a true Gryffindor lion.
